Forums - Nintendo Discussion - Nintendo to reveal "new way to play the Switch" in 12 hours from now.

Looks to be sold in kits, don't think anyone predicted this or the return of Project Robot.

Around the Network

Nintendo "Hey, today we will reveal a game for kids."

People on the forum: "What is this?!?! Only kids would like this!"

Systems I own: Switch, Wii U, Wii, N64, Retron 5 for my Ness, SNES, Genesis, Gameboy line games, Dreamcast, PS2, New 3DS.

If i were to tell you nintendo making carboard will be a hit would you believe me?

Willing to bet right here, right now, this won't be a hit. In fact I think it'll fail hard.

This is exactly what the Wii U was: a confusing overpriced mess of a product with loads of "different ways to play", of which none seems to make any sense. I finished the video saying, "what the fuck?" and that was definitely not what happened back in the Switch announcement.

Also by bet, I don't mean like a real bet, of course. I ain't risking my avatar/signature integrity.

I don't think it is overpriced...it is 70 bucks, 10 more than a regular game. I mean,I paid 100 dollars for Guitar Hero Live,it was way more and I only used the guitar for that game.

I love it. It might be a cash grab but me and my brother definitely need to get my nephew a Switch now.

Its official. Nintendo is on crack again, seeing the pricetag of some cardboard trash, that will be thrown out 2 days after assembly. I mean just look at this and marvel, of how they are not ashamed asking 70$ for this pile of trash:

It's like a science kit or something. The experience is building it and using it for the first time.

I got a build-your-own radio kit when I was a kid. After I built it, I listened to the radio like two times on it because it was a shitty radio. But that's not the point.

If this is a success, then the Nintendo brick joke might become a reality.

Soo Project giant robot lives?

Remember kids: always recycle.

Nintendo is crazier than I thought.
If only I were a kid today, this would be incredible.

Calm down, its just a game.Think of it like the 1-2 Switch of this year.

I'm absolutely calm. I wasn't expecting anything from this and that's exactly what I got. I'm just saying, this "game" is going to be a massive flop, that's all.

Honestly, I.... dont know.I wont lie to you:I think I would have loved to get this game as a kid.

I can see parents gifting their children(betwenn 6 and 12) with this and them being happy.Biggest problem here will be price.

My (locked) thread about how difficulty should be a decision for the developers, not the gamers.
