Hey, Im not complaining. That just means that online will continue to be free for longer.

My (locked) thread about how difficulty should be a decision for the developers, not the gamers.

I mean I won't complain if it won't launch until 2019, although I'm not going to mind when it does launch either.

Perhaps..... or it could be one of those placeholder dates.

Pocky Lover Boy!

Wouldn't want to starve the money deprived Nintendo for a whole year.

I just want to give Sony a big thank you for caving in and charging for online play. If they would have stayed free, think of how much it would have affected the pricing of all this. They're destroying Microsoft this generation and I can't possibly comprehend XBL still costing what it does had they offered a free alternative. Nintendo likely wouldn't have charged anything at all.

Of course, that is all speculation on my part. But it bugs me that we're now all about to be forced into paying to play online no matter which console we choose. And if you're someone who plays online games on all three? That's now going to cost $140.00 full price a year. With PC being totally free... it's such a kick in the balls.

I just want Netflix and Amazon to be added already.

I'm almost sure that Nintendo would've gone that route even if Sony didn't. The fact that Nintendo does it even though they don't need to shows me they have no regard for public opinion on this, so there was no reason to wait until it's "accepted" by consumers.
