I don't think it'll be the best selling of the franchise,but I can see reaching close to it. That on PS4, sorry but those numbers on Xone are way too high. I think it'll be lucky if it does 500k over there.

1.5 - 2 million is what the COMG numbers are hinting at in Japan. 3 million in Japan isn't happening. Monster Hunter, even with the QoL updates, still has some pretty niche game-play focused on grinding and slowish combat. Hope thats true.... this game looks to be the best MH has ever been, gameplay/graphics ect.
I feel like effort should be rewarded, so I hope thats true.

Still think portable Monster Hunter is going to sell better.

On topic: it could have a good shot, due to it being multiplatform, but I personally doubt it.

Japan is its main audience, and I don't see a console version of MH selling too well. The reason MH sold so well is freinds getting together in a cafe or sonething to play locally. That ain't happening with MH world.
Now when a proper switch MH cones out that WILL break records
