Forums - Gaming Discussion - If you like Dark Souls and are a multiconsole owner with a Switch, portability or 60fps?

I haven't really ventured into the Dark Souls games, I will give this a look but at 60fps when given the choice of this type of game. Either a ps4 or xb1 for me, for this particular game, plus achievements/trophies notches it up for me.

Persona 5 PS3 version should cost the same as the PS4 version? or Danganronpa v3 PS VITA version should cost the same as the PS4 version? They don't.

Divinity Original Sin Enhanced Edition is 10 dollars cheaper on Xbox One than PS4. I'm done, I quit.

Offcourse you are done, few examples dont 95% other games. And comparing Vita and PS4 game, is not like comparing Switch and PS4 game, because Switch offers full home console experience also while Vita offers only handheld.

I thought a few examples would be suffice, but I'm not going to list a bunch of crossplay/multiplatform games for you. I think you can do this on your own on Google. Last example for you.  (A full home console experience game) God Eater 2: Rage Burst. PS4/Vita/Steam. $59.99/$39.99/$49.99

You still mising point, 95% of PS4/XB1 game have same price point, and 3rd party would need to have higher price for games that have better performance on PS4 Pro and Xbox X compared to PS4/XboxS buy your point. Vita doensnt fit in comparision beacuse Vita same like 3DS offers only handheld expariance, that isnt case with Switch.

I just gave you an example of a home console game on a handheld (Vita/VitaTV). Believe me I see your point, but at the end of the day just because a PC, xb1 or a ps4 game is on the Switch or any handheld for that matter, doesn't make that game on par.

Oh and before you say "well PC games should cost more!" No they shouldn't because not every PC is the same.

I'm not sure what FPS skyrim on Psvr runs but god damn, the difference is night and day compared to whatever the Witcher 3 (my all time favourite game) is running on the OG ps4.

60 and 30 fps respectively. The latter had an inconsistent 30fps when it first released.

60fps is essential for this series. The non switch versions are also cheaper despite being better. 4k upscaled on the pro or xbox x would be great.

All versions are $39.99 in the U.S.  Is the price different elsewhere?

Dark Souls 2 is the only one i've played with 60fps so far. Dark Souls 3 has 30fps on consoles and Dark Souls had from 12 to 30 frames per second.

I'm fine with the 30fps if 'almost 30fps' is the bottom line. It's really about blighttown being fluid enough. Playing Dark Souls 2 with 60fps was nice, but it wasn't a must have for me.

I have never played the game. Saw videos about it from all the talk and it looks like a slow-paced game. The Legend of Zelda: Breath of The Wild is a slow-paced game. 60fps for Zelda just don't make since. I can see a fast-paced racing car game like Forza benefit from 60fps. There is no facts about what I'm saying or nothing really to sink your teeth into, but I almost certain it's not that big of a difference. Having never played the game I prefer to play it as originally as possible when it comes to the 30fps. In 1080p the Switch version should give it a cleaner look then the Xbox360/ Playstation 3 version. Then there is the portable with the Switch version that I can take on the go. I mostly don't play handheld but its a good feeling to know I have the choice. I'm still not sold on buying the game yet, but it will be the Switch version.

Vita/Vita TV are two products not one like Switch, and Switch games in docked mode working at higher resolution compared to portable mode. Do you understand difrence? Vita is just handheld, Vita TV is devaice that lets you play some of Vita (handheld) games on TV, and you need to buy two difrent devaices. Switch is a hybrid, has full home console AAA games that can be played in full handheld mode or in full home console mode.

OK about PC, but than games for PS4 Pro and Xbox X would need to cost more compared to PS4 and Xbox S, buy your failed logic.
