Portability

1080p, 60fps, full screen, still looks the same. However, when I put the video on 0.25 speed, I can see that the left side is a little choppier sometimes.

That's really odd, arf. You sure there is nothing wrong with you monitor(60Hz) , arf. Because a difference like that is really obvious for me, arf. Expecially comparing both at thr same time, arf.

Thats... disturbing...

Arf?

That's the debt I have to pay until the end of this month, arf.

Lost a bet with Palou, arf.

IGN on why Dark Souls will be so good on the Switch, it's the "portability" that allows a game like this to be played more and in smaller manageable time frames whenever you need to, it's a hard game that requires a lot of time, playing "anywhere" "anytime" helps with this

It appears anecdotally that games get more play time on the Switch

Portability. (Why no poll?)

For first timers, beating DS1 along with the amazing DLC will take probably around 80 hours so having the opportunity to play on the go is really nice.

Im just waiting to check if my next job will be far from where I live. If I need to take a 45 minute train ride everyday then I will be defenetly buying a swith. Always wanted to play Skyrim

I am definitely getting the Switch version. For me, being on a cartridge is the most important thing though. Dark Souls is not a new game to me. Instead I want a version of the game that I can keep coming back to for the rest of my life, and disks are much easier to damage than cartridges. The portability of the Switch is nice too though. Basically the Switch has all of the advantages over the PS4.

This sentiment goes for all games really. Any game that I've already enjoyed enough to play again, I want on the Switch. I have currently collected a lot of consoles, and I would kind of like to get rid of some of them. If I can have one console with most (or all) of my favorite games, then that would be ideal. I am already confident that the Switch will be the best selling console yet, so I am prepared mentally to be in collector's mode and do what I can to collect all of my favorite games on the Switch.

For a game like this IMO portability is not a plus. Yes I can continue it outside but I won't be able to play it when I am on a train or when I am away from my house. When you're outside there's a lot of distractions and a game like Soul you will need to focus. One distraction can be crucial so I would rather have a 60 FPS for the response time.

Portability every time, and also to support 3rd parties on a Nintendo system. It's healthy for the industry to have another viable platform for 3rd parties to thrive.
