I will refrain from countering your prediction in numbers with my own, but I don't think we will see this big a pricecut this year.

optimistic but possible. I think it depends on how many systems rdr2 and gow can sell and if these games can create as much hype as botw and Mario did for the switch. both games need to score 95+ on Metacritic to do so.

Im thinking it will return to 2015/2016 levels. I dont think we wll see $199 permanently this year, more likely $249 with holiday deals of $199 again but this time for more than just a week.

Pretty safe bet, but the $199 permanent price drop is seeming less and less likely, seeing as the console can still put up huge numbers without it. Honestly, I think at $199, it'll sell even more than 21M for the year.

I'm sure Spider-Man would be much more important title than GoW. Much more hype and sells. Spider-Man's trailers have tens of millions views.
