You haven't played Demon's Souls have you? If you have a PS3 you should play it now, I'm sure you'll love the game! |
No, I haven't played Demon's Souls yet. The problem is that finding a copy that's not an import and as a result really expensive is very difficult. I've been hoping for a remake of the game for some time so I could get the game easily.

1) I don't like to play on PC or home consoles, so PSP & Vita would be my only alternatives. But these systems have pretty bad libararies imo (I own a PSP but I barely used it). 2) I just like Nintendo games a lot better than other games I've tried. 3) Why would I spend money on a new console if I can just buy more Nintendo games? Nintendo has enough good games to keep me busy. |
PSP has plenty of great games. You said you haven't used it much, so you're clearly not in a position to talk about its library.
I can see that.
You should dust off your PSP and play GOW Chains of Olympus and Ghost of Sparta, GTA Vice City Stories, Tekken Dark Resurrection and Resistance: Retribution. These are just some I remember that were amazing and I'm not counting JRPG's which I don't play but the PSP was considered to have a strong library in that genre.

Its worth anything under $100 IMO. A masterpiece I'd say. The more you wait, the more expensive it will be and I don't think it will get remastered, the publishing and IP rights were very complicated. It was published by three companies. You should play it now, the servers are shutting down on February 19 so for some coop action get it quickly!

Weird that you don't like home consoles but there's plenty of home console games on your list. I'd say the least you should try is Okami. It's just like a Zelda game, but based on Japanese folklore. I'd recommend the PC version but if you're not into that there's at least a Wii version and it's decent. Then who knows, that might begin to bridge the gap (you're missing out on loads of awesome games), but even if it doesn't, it should at least be one awesome new game for you. |
Actually, there are only 2 real home console games on my list. I don't consider the Wii U as a home console since almost all games are playable in handheld mode. And I never actually played the original Wind Waker (I only played the Wii U version), but I put it at 2003 because I didn't have anything else for that year.
So the only home console games on my list are Mario Kart Wii and Twilight Princess. I didn't even finish Twilight Princess (since I disliked the Wii a lot), but it's still an amazing game.
There are quite a few Switch games that I want to play this year, so I won't have any time/money left to buy that Wii game (and I really don't want to play on that thing again).

I may own one or two, maybe more. I'll leave that to your own interpretation.
