Like the others said, we have had quite a few over the years.

I saw a post in a different thread that showed there has always been a Direct within 20 days of a Mini.

Prediction: another Nintendo direct within this month. Anyone wanna bet?

As I said in another thread. Sometimes Mini directs are followed by a full direct a few days after.

Somebody on reddit is speculating that we'll get another real direct in at most, 20 days from today. Apparently after every mini direct, there's a real one in 1-20 days of airing. We'll see.

The fact the first direct of the year was a mini direct and that avoided talking about big stuff we know Nintendo is working (Like Pikmin 3 or Fire Emblem) really gives me the impression a regular Direct is not far away.
