Forums - Nintendo Discussion - Switch playtime records

Hey guys. I got a Switch for Christmas, and have been playing it a lot. A few days ago, I went out of town, and won't be able to connect my Switch to wi-fi for the next few weeks. I've still been playing it every day, but I don't think it's calculating my playtime anymore. I was wondering if it is still recording my playtime, and if it will catch up once my Switch is connected to wi-fi again. I Googled to see if anyone knew, but the answers were all over the place, so I figured I come here and try to get a definitive answer. Hope you're all having a great day!

I think it should, I had no WiFi for a couple of weeks and it seemed to update fine afterwards.

Nope, thats beyond quantum level computing. CPUs haven't reached that stage yet. Maybe in the next 10 years NASA will develop that tech.

It definitely does. I played through Shovel Knight completely offline, and it's at 15 hours.

100 percent tracks it offline. i took it on holiday and it updated the time played
