Does this cover the releases for the first 6 months of the year or are there likely to be more big announcements?

I strongly doubt there will be any other big games for the first half, they would've announced them already. Kirby and Donkey Kong are both fairly big games, so I suppose that they found this sufficient to keep the Switch going until E3.

Ok no problem. We'll just have to see what the second half of the year brings.

I thought Yoshi was going to come first half too, but I guess they never actually said that and I just assumed since they showed it at E3 (which, given Nintendo's newer short hype cycles suggested it'd be early 2018, like Kirby).

The last Yoshi's Woolly World came in June, so I guess it could be a June/July title again maybe.

It was alright.

Have to double dip on Ys VIII.
DKC Tropical Freeze is a buy.
HW is a buy.
TWEWY is a buy.
Kirby is a buy.

Dark Souls, are kidding me? A buy!

How good is dktf? Never got a chance to play it... they said it was really hard

It's a good platformer. Controls need some time getting used to. It is pretty difficult.

By the way, what happened to that whole paid online thing? Wasn't it supposed to be launched already?

They did say early 2018. That could mean that there will be another time before Spring to show/release it. But im glad it is not near yet.

I am in no hurry to give Nintendo anymore of my hard earned cash. The less I hear about it the better. I know it is coming.

I've often campaigned in the past but I'll say it again. Don't support payday 2 on consoles. They only pay those versions lip service. Terrible support in terms of fixing game breaking bugs and in terms of adding content. Pc is the only platform they support properly.

I am ok with this direct. There is one thing that is bothering me though:

Nintendo publishing a Mario Tennis in Spring in the same time as Tennis World Tour will come out (among others on the Switch). I am convinced that this is not coincidentally. I would be really mad when I would be the publisher of the other Tennis game. Why does Nintendo have to publish their Tennis game exact at the same time?

I have only one thing to say:

Good thing i never bought a wii u,cause this is all good news for me.

They probably don't want to release it too closely to Kirby, since these are pretty similar games.

I would suspect another direct in like March or so to show off some more Spring and mainly Summer games.

But I can see them keeping as much secret as they can for E3. They seem to like this announce and release in a few months strategy.

Dark Souls on Switch ... for the sake of your console, don't play it in handheld mode.
