Science is what makes weapons possible. No science, no advanced weaponry, no killing of masses.
Why are people act like wars were fought 99% of the time because of religion. You need a lesson (or two) in human history.

Science is a tool. It is the use of that tool that is dangerous. Science for the sake of science is not dangerous. It is the intention of who commissioned the scientific development that is dangerous.
And of course religion was not the cause of 99% of all wars and even most "holy wars" only use religion as a guise for political, power or resource gains. The danger factor is the willingness of the religious followers to accept war on the premise of religion. Even today it is still an issue. Bush said Gold told him to invade Iraq. That religious implication gave a lot of American enough validation to support the war....despite the war truly being about power and resources.

Yea, and religion for the sake of religion isnt dangerous either. Selective nonsense argumentation.
You really think Bush lil divine chit chat had a major impact on the readiness for war of the US american people? Lets take a look which of the following could be a reason on its own to go to war.
- biggest terror attack in human history/biggest non civil war losses on US american soil in an act of war
- Weapons of Mass Destruction
- God talks to Bush Jr., telling him to invade Iraq
2000 years prior Julius Caesar invaded Gaul. Without any kind of divine incitement, but under the same pretext. A premtive strike against a looming threat. Where the romans only suffered minor losses, the Gauls were slaughtered in the hundreds of thousands, historians speak of genocidal proportions. And what made it pissible? Science, the technological advantage the romans had over the gauls. Better armor, better weapons, a professional well trained army of soldiers and constructors.
Back to the here and now. What made a decisive victory over the iraqi army possible and drove the body count of iraqi civilians as high as it did? Religion?
