Always cool to see the site being worked on and improved, thank you for the time spent on this guys. Well done, it might be a little thing, but those little things all add up to make the place more functional and appear less... abandoned in ways. Love it.

Maybe there could be a badge for hosting or being the TC of an official thread? I guess in order for that to work though there'd have to be some sort of flag or tag that lets the forum know that it's an official thread.

I was thinking maybe having some badges for "winning" in community threads

Like winning GUT, or a meta prediction league. These badges would have to function different though and be manually assigned

Oh yeah, there should be a badge for those who win the Greatest User Tournament. I also think that it should be unique for every year, so that people like Rol would get more than one badge as he has won more than once.

Firstly, the GameDB related badges are now all working again. They've been dormant for years but now we have a proper community-sourced database again we can bring them back, and today we did just that. Secondly Talon is going to make it so that they update on a regular basis - hopefully once every week. So no more having to wait an eternity to receive your badges.

Thirdly, that still leaves us with a handful of badges that have never worked. We're going to look into getting them up and running.

Fourthly, we're going to be adding new badges - the first set of badges since the Supporter badges were added. I'll be compiling a list of ideas to present to Talon shortly and then we'll bring the community on board to help with the designs, which will give a new set of users the chance to earn the Designer badge.
