Love the PS4 but Sony needs more games that I need.Fantasy JRPGs? Uhhh It's not the selling point anymore but they need it to keep the diversity. We don't need post-apocalyptic or scifi everything. Where's my Legend of Dragoon? Wild ARMs? Sony is becoming so negligent with its IPs that it sometimes hurts. There's no way they think those games need over the top visuals/AAA budget to sell. Persona 5 didn't need it. Nier didn't but what's Sony's doing? Sitting on it's ass cause they are the market leader.

I mean I am happy with the next year's output(it is obviously different Detroit, GoW, Spiderman etcetera) but please... I need a refresher. I don't want myself to get tired of those games and I feel Sony should branch out a little more and become more a little less safe now that they have established themselves as market leader.

For anyone curious about one of the poll choice. It is actually "Sony is the king of diversity you Playstation Hater Go back and play your beloved Dreamcast lol" haha :D

Sounds more like you just want some old IP's back than you do diversity. This year we should be getting:

A Norse action game (GOW)
A cyberpunk adventure game (Detroit)
An open world superhero game (Spiderman)
An action/adventure/puzzle remake (SotC)
An unprecedented game and content creator (Dreams)
An advanced swarm zombie/survival shooter (Days Gone)
A zany Japanese crime brawler (Yakuza 6)
A Ghibli style JRPG (Ni No Kuni 2)
And possibly even a spacetime stealth action mindfuck (Death Stranding)

Apart from maybe wanting more stylized visuals or say a classic platformer, it doesn't get much more diverse.

Wow, is this for real??? Good thing an opinion like that is in the minority. Unbelievable that someone is going to complain about the PS not being diverse enough. O_O

The PS4 has the most exclusives of any platform. It's not even comparable. The Switch gets one (exclusive?) per month.

You need a refresher?! Buy a PSVR and STFU! ;P

Their lineup seems pretty diverse to me.

Ni no kuni 2 isn't even exclusive. 3rd Person action adventure isn't even diverse anymore which are what you mentioned.

Shadow of the Colossus? a Remake? Oh please that's not diverse enough.

Let me rephrase it to for everyone. I want more games(not exclusively JRPGs) than what Sony currently offers. Simpler, smaller and double Abudget. Something to keep people entertained while you wait for the bigger games.

If Sony could waste hundreds of millions  of dollars on a flop like Blade Runner the film... I am confused why they can't do the same it for Playstation when it's their most profitable business.

Well to be fair, Switch is only 10 months old. Most 1st years of consoles don't even get exclusives unless they're ports(Remember 1st year PS4 and Xbone Games?)... I think things will change soon here. But I digress,

PS4 is more diverse overall, that's been its moniker since the PS1. I think the OP meant to criticize Sony's 1st party (which still really isn't as valid but understandable) for their negligence towards JPRGs. But this isn't the 90's anymore. JRPGS aren't the powerhouse they used to be. But even with that being said PS4 is still getting/has a TON of them. Persona 5, Nier, Tales, Ni No Kuni, Dragon Quest XI, Kingdom Hearts 3, Final Fantasy VII...I kind of fail to see the argument here. It's getting more JRPG support that the Switch (as of now). 

A $399 gaming peripheral? STFU too. ;P
