Forums - Gaming Discussion - What game do you think improved the most post launch?

Never played Final Fantasy 14, but from what I understand they took the worst Final Fantasy game ever made and turned it into a gigantic success. Can't think of another game with this kind of turn around.

No Mans Sky? anyone? no one? ok...

Destiny - in terms of game play improvements. Technical improvements...... I'll go with Mass Effect Andromeda.

I probably should have said Diablo 3. But, I didn't really play it, so I tend to forget about it.

I'm gonna say Street Fighter V. I was disgusted with it initially. Now, it's not bad at all. Still no SFIV but I don't regret buying it now.

Outside of patches I don't think DLC improves any game. It just waters it down.

I'm gonna go with tribes lol.

The community kept the game updated for years after it launched.

Mass Effect Andromeda. The game was much better than the gaming community gave it credit for, but now it is well worth a look for RPG fans with the glitches and many of the more onerous bits of gameplay removed/toned down.

Fallout 4 improved greatly in performance. From being nightmarish to probably the most stable framerate for a Todd Howard game after it was patched up.

Bet with Intrinsic:

The Switch will outsell 3DS (based on VGchartz numbers), according to me, while Intrinsic thinks the opposite will hold true. One month avatar control for the loser's avatar.

Diablo III, most definetely.

Before Loot 2.0, it was terrible, drops were bad, you were practically forced to go to the auction house for good gear and the end game was boring. The changes made from the point Reaper of Souls released and onward made the game fresh, addictive and interesting again, kept me playing for about 3 years when I was about to give up on it.

It definitely improved over the caurse. Especislly with Reaper of Souls and the game almost refreshed itself when it hit consoles. Probably my game of choice in this thread. That Auction House.. it did ruin it for me alittle.
