We talked about the overestimation of Vgchartz

No, I asked why you thought VGC was overtracking and you had nothing to back up why you think that is the case. All you had was a source from 2015 that said PS4s market share in continental Europe is between 70-90% and since VGC has at it just shy of 81%... your source would actually suggest VGC is accurate.

I hope that Sony releases the numbers for the UK and Others market, so VGChartz will be really accurate for xbox one, because even a small weekly overestimation, after years it becomes a big overestimation for Xbox one.

Pretty sure those people were talking about US, not global.

Just shows you how silly celebrating that is when WW ps4 is winning so easily.

Who said anything about celebrating?

1. 250 with Zelda would be a very good price for February onwards imho.

2. Sure X1 and PS4 are older and cheaper to manufacture, still Nintendo is on the same market and if costing the double while being half as powerful it may drive customers away after the early adopters buy.

  1. You must not know nintendo.... only thing that makes them drop the price is sales were sub par. Bust as they are now.... you can kiss any pricedrops in the immediate future goodbye. Unless sales suddenly tank. They will accomplish more in 1 years than they did in 4 years of the WiiU. Of course they aren't dropping any price.

  2. Funny..... there are people taht actually think the NS costs $250+ to make?

A smartphone with more expensive parts and components (chips, Ram, higher rez screen, more storage space, cameras and more sensors than you can throw water at) costs less than $200 to make. Hell, you can get a tablet with a 7inch screen for as little as $50.

yet there are people that really believe that it costs $250 for the entire NS package?

I didn't say they will, I said 250 USD would be a good price for 2018 to keep the sales (and they are targeting 20M... unlike some people that really thought they were targeting to produce 30M and sell 25M).

Yep, when the console is based on NVdia tablet you can more or less assume they both cost similar to make. But some people think Nintendo is putting a very advanced tech inside.

I'm sure it isnt as simple as all that. What about the included joy cons, grip, dock, straps, adapter, hdmi cord etc, Dont forget it's quite a bit heavier and bulkier than a tablet so increased shipping and handling costs as well.

Also a marketing campaign for a console I'd imagine is quite a bit more costly than say a $50 RCA tablet. That gets factored into the cost of Switch as well.

All the accessories you put are basically injected plastic that shall not cost more than 30 USD.

They do, you just need to subscribe to their premium service. Also, Ka-pi96 already gave you the marketshare of continental europe for PS4. And in UK it is over 50% but not near 90%.

Surely there's an upwards adjustment of 375,000 units for the Switch pending.

Why?

Bet with Adamblaziken:

I bet that on launch the Nintendo Switch will have no built in in-game voice chat. He bets that it will. The winner gets six months of avatar control over the other user.

Bah, guess Switch wont be beating the Wii U's ltd by the end of 2017 then, but should easily do so in the first full year atleast.

Switch announced numbers doesn't necessarily correlates to a week ending.

Pokemon is the last huge sales driver Nintendo has to release in the near future. Its hard to imagine them keeping pace with none of the big AAA games launching on their console. Especially at a 299 price point.

Why? His opinion sound pretty realistic to me
