PS4 slim is almost 100$ more expensive than the Xbox One Slim... but its outselling it atm on amazon.
That doesnt not bode well for Xbox imo.

it was useless. if you looked at amazon you think switch was destroying xbox, yet it only out sold it by 9%, ps4 had 2 sku's above xbox, yet xbox out sold it by like 20%, how was it it not useless?

most of the months ps4/switch was basically selling the same on npd, so amazon was useless anyway you look at it, plus switch was sold out on amazon the whole year till like the end of september, so amazon was telling us anything anyway.

The difference in profit must be huge. Ps4 cost of production must be far lower too because Sony are producing so many more.

like i said before we havent had switch really available  at amazon the whole year, so this year will tell us the story of how accurate it is. I mean look, switch out sold xbox by a insane margin in December, but it out sold it by a small margin in NPD. 

Because again....... there is still November, which has XB1 head of Switch and PS4, which also can explain why the difference in December is not big.

I don't know how Amazon work and why Switch sells so insane if is sold out, all i say is that i know what expect from Amazon looking at the ranking.

Switch is for some reasons the favourite on Amazon, so i know that when i say Switch selling crushing the others console (like right now) i know i should not expect something like that, while on the PS4/XB1 part, it is usually very good. In 50 months and over, Amazon was wrong with the ranking like 3 or 4 times, that's an amazing record, and even then, it wasn't that off.

The point is: Amazon is not even close to be usefull. You just have to understand there is not only Amazon, if you keep in mind Amazon rules, it usually help a lot to understand how the situation looks like.

Is like Abdiel on ERA, he tend to overestimate PS4. Should we never trusth him? NO! Just keep in mind that on Best Buy PS4 is the favourite, while Switch is the favourite on Amazon.

yea i already know this, but by how much?  that's what we will find out this year. last year switch was barely in stock regular months on amazon, you have to remember this.

Amazon Japan looking very promising ahead of the mhw launch. 

Again, i don't know why Amazon rank looks like this if Switch was sold out... i'm just saying Amazon helped me and a lot of people with this ranking, and i rarely predicted wrong because of Amazon. I think the only time that happen was in October 2015, when Amazon and Abdiel both had PS4 above XB1, so i trusted them and in the end numbers were 303k for XBO and 275k for PS4.

Can i ask why you are so interested?

He looks Eastern European and I'm going on a trip to a few of those countries this summer.
