VG Chartz is consistently overtracking X1 overall sales. How could they be close to 2:1 sales when PS4 outsold it 2:1 for three years in a row and has been consistently outselling it by 3:1 this whole year?!

Xbox One X released this month and the S model was $189.

But Switch is still sold out everywhere, right?

Oh, wow. If the 25% figure is actually solid data, that means Switch WW is somewhere between 12.8 and 13.2 million with one week left in December. |
Is that below, meeting, or above your expectations?

I was expecting 12.6 million at the very end of the year.

Its about right on based on Nintendo's shipment forcast.
Nintendo expects to ship 16.74 million by the end of March.
Switch averaged 2.54 million in the 3 quarters thus far so let's assume thats roughly what they ship in Jan-March.
That means shipments should be something like 14 million at the end of December so ~13 million sold through sounds about right.

Those PS4 numbers though... i see it has finally overtaken the 3DS total sales on the front page.

I'm thinking closer to 9 million if that.
Based on last year, lets say it averages 500K for the next 5 weeks. That would get it near 9 million.
It had a great Black Friday and X1X is out. So lets see if that translates to an exceptional December as well.
