Should't we be more happy that the Switch is succeeding rather than be upset at it not reaching our crazy high projections?

Switch is a sucess since Day 01, so is time to be upset with high projections 

US&UM at almost 2M (1,985,852M) and Yokai Watch sold as much as the week before :)

I think the YTD number of the Playstation Vita is wrong in the op.

So essentially the Switch has outsold the Wii U in Japan by the end of this year.

Anecdotal evidence was badly off this week for hardware sales. Too much weight is being put on it.

Like others I was hoping for 300k+ for Switch, so to see it just below 270k is a little dissapointing.
Mario Odyssey is an absolute beast over 1m already. Splatoon is doing well as always and I'm happy to see Arms with a shot at 300k+. Zelda is probably going to finish just below 800k.

Yokai Watch had a bad launch but a very soft drop this week and pokemon is doing well with the legs as well.
