Sonic Forces deserves less than that.

Sega should probably team up with Nintendo again for a Sonic exclusive at this point or keep the Sonic Mania formula.
Other than that, if Doom can manage doing 100k first week WW it would be pretty good tbh when you see the Xbox one version at 1.1 million.

You also have to consider up to 40% digital attach rate for games on X1/PS4.

I can't see Arms and that pisses me off.

still good numbers for call of duty...

Sonic Forces sells more on Switch than PS4 and Xbox One combined, I did not see that coming.

Seriously? Absolutely no surprise here IMO.

How is Doom for Switch? Do you recommend the game?

Looks good on Handheld mode and very blurry on Docked mode, oh it's 30fps not 60fps like ps4 and x1, but its a amazing game, i got the platinum trophy on ps4, i got the game for pc too and i plan to get for switch (for 20 bucks someday).

Really? I mean Sonic being more at home on a Nintendo system is no surprise, but I thought the far larger install base of PS4 would even things out, and that PS4 and Switch would sell about the same.

I would, yes. Some graphical compromises had to be made to get it up and running on a mobile chipset, but the core excellence of the game shines through and it's still great fun.

nah the core fanbase is on Nintendo consoles and they buy Sonic games no matter if they are bad or good. Since Sonic Forces is considered to be pretty bad, I had no doubt that it would sell more on Switch.
However, if the game was better, things could've turned out different.

I just figured there being 22 million PS4s in the US versus 3 million Switches would go some way towards balancing out the fact that Sonic's more at home on Nintendo, such as seems to have happened in Europe.
