Ouch, seems that the movie will fall way behind TFA. The bad reception the movie is getting worldwide seem to hurt the new release....

This is based on pre-sale, though. The movie isn't out yet there.

Bad reception where?
Funny thing is, even if TLJ makes like 1 million less than a previos modern Star Wars film, the "true fans" will come in screaming "See Disney?Your movie is failling!MUAHAHAHAHA", even if the movie already earned billions of dollars on the movie screening alone *sigh*

My (locked) thread about how difficulty should be a decision for the developers, not the gamers.

He's basing it on audience reception in sites like Rotten Tomatoes and Metacritic.

Donnie Yen was in Rogue One, I assume that helped Rogue One's popularity in China.

As long as it's raking in cash, Disney probably care about what fans say as much as they care about if Jar Jar has a song and dance routine in it.

They also care about maximizing the amount of money this movie can make for them. Falling sales goes contrary to that interest and if people hate the film, merchandise sales will likely suffer.

Star Wars: Battlefront II was more damaging than even I thought it could be!

That and the movie sucked too.
