Quick question. Do threads get reviewed before they are published to the site? I made my first one yesterday and thought I submitted it successfully. I'm using a phone so I may have made a mistake.

I'm asking also because the subject matter eluded to certain questionably moral behavior but nothing I thought wasn't in good taste so to speak.

No they don't get reviewed but you have to have a certain amount of posts before you can start a thread. About 100?

I know. If you recall...you aren't even given the option to post if you haven't met the requirements.

I think I'm aware...I don't remember picking a topic category...pretty sure that's where I blooped.

You're welcome! Very excited for MOSS tomorrow. Will have to wait until in two weeks though...it's final exam time for me.

Did anybody get Apex Construct yet? It's made by ex-DICE staff.

I got it, just haven't had time to get into it past the first hour and a half. Seems legit, I doubt it'll be a mind blower but a solid game no doubt, I watched the patch notes today and it seems they've patched every problem I had with it off the bat, so that's good. I just really hope that name isn't a spoiler because if it is, it'll take a point or two of the game score instantly.

I’ve seen quite a few trusted sources praising it. Really like the art style of it. Most reviewers said it’s a good game, some were having tracking issues though..others were fine....so user error isn’t out of the picture. Would like to hear your thoughts on it.

But tbh I’m only thinking of Moss atm...it releases in 15 min over here and it could be what PSVR really needs, if the whole game can deliver on what the demo promised.

Oh brilliant, it's out here too, completely missed the date on that one. So, What's it like? Is it bingable would be my biggest question, how's the addictive factor?

On that note, now that I look Metacritic has yet to post anything, PSaccess is quite, my gaming youtube account is silent, I'm so sick of these near ghostly launches. They could of really hammered in this one as a pinnacle title for the platform.

Don’t have it yet. Don’t have time to play anyway atm, but I’ll game share it with my brother so I’ll have to wait for him to buy it later.

Moss is getting great reviews. Just got a recommended from Eurogamer, seems to be the PSVR system seller we were hoping for. Around 4 hours of length but with replay value, according to the developers. It’s sitting at 84 atm at Metacritic, would have been even higher be it not for that 7/10 from Push Square who loved it but complained it was too short and left him wanting more. I’ll never understand that logic, especially since it’s not a full price game.

I agree they should beat the drum more for a game like this...but PS Access did have the launch trailer and some gameplay last week!

Those moss reviews popped out fast indeed, 86 from 6 with a 9.8 from 14, user score. Seems legit, it took sprint vector and knockout league two days too get to 4 reviews and 4 user reviews.

I’m having a strict deadline for a project and couldn’t do anything die to being sick last week. Will dive into all these new VR things after I’m done.

Im tempted to give Moss a try for sure though. I'm desperately missing my dog (she’s with my parents atm) and I really feel the need to care for something cute lol.

Really frustrated by the Gameinformer review, as I generally respect this site. The guy reviewing the game states stupid stuff like “I elbowed my chair several times with the motion controls” or “playing games with your neck isn’t fun”. I can’t wait until most publications take VR serious enough to employ a dedicated, VR experienced enthusiast and not use random people from the team.

Oh and considering the poll...you can’t just update the poll’s description as it won’t delete the votes. At the moment it’s still containing the Inpatient votes.

Have fun mate!

Is Moss digital release only or is there a physical version I should wait for?

As far as I know it’s digital only for now. Love the box art, so I can see why one would like a retail version. I share all my VR games with my brother, so it’s mostly digital for me anyway.

Anyone know how the OG Ps4 is able to handle a 1440p 3d 180 video with such little, if any, jitters? Also. I tried a 4k, 3d 180 video with the console off, the media player wouldn't play it but littlstar did and with the temp in my room at 5 degrees celcius and the console rested to near that temp it was able to run it with very minor jitter for 5 minutes or so then slowly starting to get louder and with more and more frame and audio skips. Why is this possible, is it littlstar here that isn't locking the video for the OG ps4 and ...just how? Is there some cumputing power in the actual headset, is it using the TV in some way? Can it manage 2d 4k videos now? ...how?

I’d assume it’s the player which downsammples it, or simply downscales the resolution. PS4 can’t play 1440p or 4K videos obviously.

In 180 degree videos and 360 degree videos you only see a section of the total picture... that's the reason you can look around in these videos.

Therefore the video resolution has to be much higher than the native resolution of the headset to get optimal results. 4K or even 5K videos aren't overkill for a FullHD headset, the currently shown section is probably even below FullHD.
