Splatoon 2, awesome competitive tps game, very addictive and funny. XC2 it's awesome too but i choose the squids game mainly.

Far out, you're not wrong; usually I only play games for about an hour at a time but with XB2 I have been regularly sitting down to play, losing track of time, and looking at the clock to see two hours have passed.

Played way too much of Splatoon 2. It's similar to the first game, but most of the issues I had were ironed out and it's one heck of a good time.

I thought we had some Metroid fans here ... granted I skimmed the other responses but I didn't once see Axiom Verge.

Granted I've only spent a few hours with it but Axiom Verge has scratched an itch I'd forgotten I had.

Spla2oon like someone else said seemed like a seamless transition from the first, although it is still a fun game to play I feel like I've purchased the same game twice with all the recycled content. That said I have not tackled the single player yet and only been playing online a bit here and there.

Marrio + Rabbids is a fun title and I got about 75% through it before I got Odyssey but once I got a proper Mario I dropped that game and haven't looked back.

Axiom Verge has been well worth the 15 bucks I paid for it and I am very much digging it right now.

 

EDIT: I now know why no one mentioned it , it came out in 2015 for the PS4... my bad for throwing shade at the "Metroid" fans in the thread.

How does it play on Switch, in your opinion?  RiME sounds like a game I'd like, but I've heard the Switch port is poorly done.

I agree with this.  Its an excellent game.  The best Sonic.....possibly ever.  Certainly in the last 20 years.  

 

If it has to be a Switch exclusive..... I dunno.  SMO and BotW are amazing games.  I don't think I can put any other exclusives in the same ballpark.  A possible exception would be Kart.  But, that's really just the WiiU version from 3 years ago.
