Im sure others have pointed it out but PS4 sales seem way too high, especially in America, considering a $100 price cut is right around the corner.

When was the $100 price cut announced?

Can somebody tell me where does Mexico fall in these charts? RoW or N. America? I've never know in all these years.

After Trump wall, it's now part of the RoW. Of course we also have some places that consider the whole central america as N America =]

If I'm not wrong the week before BF.

Also, Switch might look a little low, but it's pretty similar to 3DS in its first year. It sold 306k in the 2nd week of November 2011. Lower than expected by me.

Nintendo also announced on December 13 the Switch hit 10 million units sold to consumers. They didn't provide any dates on when it hit the figure (Unless I am mistaken), so that would likely mean it hit the milestone for the week ending December 9. We currently have sales around 8.5 million units. That would leave 1.5 million units sold in 4 weeks.

Is there a chance the Switch is slightly over-tracked right now (and by extension will be slightly under-tracked in the next few weeks)? It's at 500k+ in Japan for about that period, and let's low-ball and say 750k for NA. That only leaves 250k~ for EU and Other. That or Nintendo rounded up by a few 100k, but that seems unlikely.

That is possible. We have NPD estimates for November. If need be I will adjust down Switch sales before Super Mario Odyssey if sales end up overtracked. I won't make adjustments until at least the rest of November is up. I plan on getting that done before the end of the year. At that point I will see where Switch sales are. From what I've seen there are no stock issues in the US.

Alrighty, thanks. Good work by the way; no matter what it seems like you guys are within a few percent for the Switch!

I understand why XBox One numbers are so high but where did the PS4 boost come from?

right one x is because of launch, but ps4...

because it's PS4, it keep selling higher than what we would expect.

seems so, happy about and thinking about the games that are coming out next year;)

Congrats to the Xbox One for taking the lead this week (its been a while since ive seen that), strong sales for PS4 as well, Switch didn't do badly either but still its pretty far away from the other two.

Those numbers look off.

Great launch for Xbox. PS4 killed it. All 3 putting up good numbers. Great time to be a video game fan.

Thinking the majority of those increased Xbox sales majorly goes to the culmination of pre-orders of the X. Solid start. No wonder it's so close to PS4 on NPD. Worldwide though the 4 leads this week still. Practically tied though.

10k, 20k..... hell maybe even 50k if we are stretching it are all "close".

100k, 200k and in this case even 300k is definately not close. More so when you consider that the difference is more than what the XB1 manages to sell in some entire months.
