I'm halfway with you. I mean I'll never sell my things and would just store them away (as I had in the past and have now actually except the newest things), I do agree that gaming's mostly boring. I already said once in another thread some time ago that I only game when I don't have anything else to do.

Good those consoles are going to people who actually deserve them.

There are so many threads about how the sword of a kingdom hearts character ( a fictional persons Sword) is looking like and i cant post that i give up my passion for about 30 years? Why 30 years? Because i have watched before i could touch the first gaming machine, my brother how he played. I am a Player since i was born. Considering the first 3 - 4 years as a passive player. So many strange threads which has no realy effect on our life but you came to tell me that my Thread is a huge problem? Why? Because i have told the truth? Does it hurt you when someone from your side is waking up and is saying "hey, we are wasting our fuxxxng time" for NOTHING. Its nothing. It doesnt give you joy. Thats not real. There are fictional. Not real. They will not help you if you have a bad time. They are not REAL! They will not embrace you if you need someone. Its wasting our time. Nothing more. And dont tell me that 5 scientists have said that playing games are good for a part in your brain. I am sure if that was your problem there are things which can activate that parts of your brain in the same way. I for my self find it stupid. I could have made another master in m University or could have read so many books. Or meer so many new people. But i was infront of the tv for 30 years with friends which are even not real.

I normally treat games as puzzles or challenges I need to figure out. I've tended to go for strategy/puzzle orientated ones rather than plain story driven games. If I want a good story I will read a book or watch it with friends/family, for gaming I want a little pastime to entertain my brain with some logic, that's all I look for it.

With this outlook just owning a Switch is enough to fulfil my gaming needs. I have been trying to get back to the PC, but I just don't have the energy and time to spend it in front of a monitor, I am already quite a few hours with the PC at work... I have been thinking in investing into a gaming HTPC for quite some years, but the media one I have is enough.

So you left core gaming for only doing casual gaming then.

So skimming through the pages I see you are still playing mobile games and stepping away from being locked down in front of a desk or TV which is why you considered keeping the Switch.

You admit you are looking forward to multiple games and will come back for them once they release?

Kingdom Hearts is a loved series by many (not me, hate it) and KHIII is a very anticipated title. As a Shenmue fan on fan forums there was 100 page topics on a blurry texture on a character in a game. Yes a bunch of topics about items in a game make sense on a gaming forum because that's what it's for. Making a topic on a gaming forum saying I sold everything I quit because of blah blah. yeah? Ok...and? Then move on. Why announce it to thousands of strangers esp those who don't share your dislike of the medium now. If it's something you moved on from then quit the gaming forum because oddly enough we talk about playing games on a gaming forum.

My Brother is 51 has 3 kids,2 in college and I still see him play. Many of the people I do know with kids play with their kids. Sorry but you have not risen to some other level of existence because you have a kid. If you dislike gaming..fine, no problem but we don't need to nor care to know. Cool, you found joy as a father. Topics like this are even more pointless than vlogs on YouTube. It's like a vegetarian walking into a steakhouse and boasting how they don't eat meat. Do you want us to console you or pat you and say a GOOD JOB! Because it just seems you are begging for attention. Yeah, you got it but not generally what you expected but honestly probably deserve on a gaming forum.  If you did this on a general topic at a sports forum or whatever, might be better received. Lastly, dude, don't boast about a second masters degree with the crazy amount of bad grammar and spelling errors in your post, it reflects even worse on your post.Mine are not perfect either but that post is hard to read.
