I can't help but laugh at the suicide simulator. I know it is kind of messed up, but the whole idea going to an island full of weapons just to kill your self. Would make a great movie.

As far as I understand, the term pedophile is reserved for people who are attracted to PRE-pubesent children... not post pubescent teenagers . How in the world we started using that term for people who are attacked to 16 year old girls is beyond me.

Under that definition Elvis was a pedophile as he dated a 14 year old girl and married her when she was 15. I know times change but this is getting ridiculous.

The lack of moderation is definitely one of the core issues. The only time Valve ever does something is if it could cause bad publicity for them. Shit that gets unnoticed by the majority gets a free pass. Not to mention that their client hasn't changed in years and is missing plenty of useful features. 

But it's a monopoly, so there is not much way around it if you want to play together with friends. It's the console dilemma on PC. I don't think Steam was ever a good thing on PC, it just was the first thing and then the only thing. There is no reason to believe that not anyone else could do a better job with it. There are plenty of different clients on PC and they are all functional.

If it wasn't for Steam and consoles and the market was more open and split, developers would put their own party systems in their games, that would work across all platforms. But why do that when the platform you're on already provides that feature and 95% of your audience is already on it.

If that's the case, then yeah... it's pretty sick.

This could lead to a major suing by the dev, even more on the claim that they are aiming pedophiles... besides the fact that they don't even know that pedophile are sexually interested in pre-pubescent kids.
