Concurrent players =/= total players. XBOX has 3 million or so total players, but the number of active players is not known.
There are 3 million concurrent players in the game at peak times on steam out of the 25 million+ total pubg steam players.

Passed the 300 hour mark and I still feel like I have a lot to learn. My brother and I just won back to back Chicken Dinners, and the rush was still just as intense as our first win.
The final circles seem to be doing quite a bit more health damage than it used to, but it makes for quicker end game play.
Less rubber-banding, less lag, and very few game crashes. It still needs more optimization and Bluehole is going in the right direction, but I wish they would hurry up.

4 million players is insane. It's no wonder. I can't put this game down. Over 20 dinners now and ranking in the top 200 in solo's and duo's in Oceania. That chicken may as well be cocaine!

That's good bro. I'm ranked 1,030 in solo for NA. That's out of 3 million plus.I have 25 dinners myself. Coming very frequently now.

I don’t even know my rank. I do still play daily with one of my brothers though.
New update today. Tweaked vehicle damage on collisions, changed how you spawn.
I ended up in 3rd place in a match and killed about 5 people, most were with a pump action shotgun.
