Xenoblade 2. Massive imaginative COLORFUL worlds. Great combat and a very well told story. Monolith are the ones that designed the world of BotW.

Nope nope nope nope

I agreed in the first 2 hours of the game but now nahhhhh

OP: Get Xenoblade 2 because it's something you can only get on Switch, plus when it really gets going I think it's the most pure fun you can have on the system.

Tell me, what color is Rex's outfit for you right now? If you can tell me that then I may be able to just quietly agree to disagree on the story. I'm really late in the game and some things have been revealed to me that makes me love this series and the first game even more.

Well I've been somewhat busy this month, so I only have the default suit still.

But honestly if it's takes that long for the story to get good then it probably isn't a good story overall.

Nah, it's good form the start and builds to something amazing and pretty mind blowing. Esp if you completed the original. Not needed but means more.

I got Skyrim at the beginning of the month and it has just taken over my life lol.

I'd imagine the same will happen with Xenoblade 2.

I don't think you can make a wrong choice here.

Xenoblade 2 is an SNES era JRPG made in 2017. If that doesn't wet your panties, get Skyrim.

I'd say it's pretty predictable if you've played the original. At least, it's what I was expecting pretty much the entire time I played. Not specifics, but the general theme of the big reveal was something I assumed as soon as I learned the setting and remembered that this was a Xenoblade game.

The entire premise is that the sea is clouds. Since you're salvaging things from under the cloud sea, it doesn't take a huge leap in logic to assume that somewhere in the game, you're going to explore an area down there. Once that thought popped in my head, which was immediately, I started thinking that there was probably some post-apocalyptic city down there, because what else would there be, realistically? And then I thought about the original Xenoblade ending and how it was all scientific and I was 100% prepared for the game to end that way. I will say that I didn't expect the whole world tree thing, but it made sense immediately once I thought about it.

I love the story btw - it's just much less surprising if you've played the original. And I'm sure the original would feel the same if you played this game first. They're pretty interchangeable in that regard, which I appreciate.

Don't knock it until you try it.

Am I talking about the panties or the game? You'll never know.

I'm talking about the panties.
