£39billion.

The X-men (and F4) are saved.

Long live our Disney movie overlords.

All they have to do now is buy Sony and not only will they own the entire movie industry but half the gaming sector too.

Hmm, pie.

Oh wow!

Pocky Lover Boy!

With this deal I hope for a new Simpsons movie.

Man, the size and scope of Disney's entertainment portfolio is kind of scary.

May they also get the Riordanverse rights too: a musical should not stand as the best adaption of the story forever.

The Democratic Nintendo fan....is that a paradox? I'm fond of one of the more conservative companies in the industry, but I vote Liberally and view myself that way 90% of the time?

This means Disney’s streaming service will have an absolutely HUGE tv slate.

I can imagine having Xmen back to marvel just sweatens the deal.

It will be interesting to see how Disney release the Avatar movie slate..

Only worry I have is the smaller FOX studios like Searchlight who might get lost in the transition

Now that they own 60% of Hulu, people think Disney might put its content there instead of making a brand new service.

Signature goes here!

Wow, 25% of Disney's shares? That HUGE. No wonder they sold so much to Disney if they were going to get that many shares anyway. How much does Disney itself has in terms of its own shares?

You know it deserves the GOTY.

This was made 1 day before the release of Star Wars: The Last Jedi. Why would they do this?

Sad, i hoped for Sony to buy the movie studios. Disney is annoying in buying everything. And now all the movies will become Kids friendly? lol, when i see what they are doing with star wars... i hope Avatar wont be the next victim..
