LOL what about game preview is lost?

its an alpha.....

Complete overreaction.

I've played and enjoyed other games on Xbox One that were in alpha build. My problem with this game is that it cost $30 while the others were free. PUBG is a little too unrefined at this point. If it were free that'd be cool but for $30, I can't support it.

The difference is: you get the official release for free once you pay. Its the same thing for those other games, its just that you pay later, at the actual release.

With MS refunds, in most cases, 2 hours of playing should be enough to determine whether you like it or not.

Bet with Intrinsic:

The Switch will outsell 3DS (based on VGchartz numbers), according to me, while Intrinsic thinks the opposite will hold true. One month avatar control for the loser's avatar.

Sure, FPS issues are present in most games and even the best rigs.

But to say a game that hit 4fps runs fine is crazy... and in this thread there are a lot saying the game run fine to them.

Yeah but that's the thing. I've been watching people like Jackfrags playing the X1 version and seeing it run semi decently. Not at 60fps entirely, but not at 4fps  constantly either. There are definitely areas on the map that cripple the frames though. Some of these people have likely avoided said areas to drop them down to 4fps. Also, the starting hub area, where everybody can just go nuts on one another, performs like garbage on all platforms atm, which does cripple your fps a lot.

Step right up come on in, feel the buzz in your veins, I'm like an chemical electrical right into your brain and I'm the one who killed the Radio, soon you'll all see

So pay up motherfuckers you belong to "V"

Yep. Which I why I got the refund! I may buy it again once the issues are ironed out . You can even find my 2 Star review in the m$ Marketplace on Xbox. No hate. I just don't see the value, yet.

Loving the double standards everywhere. If it's a major publisher or VR game that's not perfect on release, burn it at the stakes! Bet eh, early access is awesome! After all the scrutinizing over true 4K vs upscaled it's quite funny.

I wonder if the success of this (if it's going to sell as well on XBox as on PC) will influence future games. Why bother with optimization, call it early access, make it run somewhat decent on the X and cash in. It's been working for PC.

But I'm glad more people realize that graphics aren't everything. Now take the plunge and dive into VR. You won't regret it!

Which VR games are being lets say "burned at the stake"?  Wonder how No mans sky would have gone if they just called it "early access".

Early access seems to be the new "in" term that forgives all faults. As if once a game releases it won't actually get more updates.

Why release a finished product and get slammed for any problems if you can just call it "early access" and wave away all criticism.

Not games specific, more VR in general. Too blurry, last gen graphics, no perfect controls. That describes PUBG on base XBox as well.

Early access seems to be a defense against bad review scores. DriveClub should have called itself early access until after the server issues were sorted and wet patch at least. Evolution studios might still be around! No man's sky the same indeed.

I believe they mean that if you pay for the $30, you will get the $60 free of charge. When it finishes and it releases that is.

The game will still be priced at 30$ for the final release.

This is from the Q&A from STEAM:

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“The game will remain to be at the current price even after Early Access.”

They are, but the fact that XB1X is running a game that visually looks that bad runs less than 30 let alone 30 is shameful to the developers.

I get it's in early access or preview but how can they even charge money for that.

I have mixed feelings.

I dont really care if MS or developers want to put a game like this in early access. Its half the price of a full game, its playable and it seems to be a stable outside of a some rough spots.

But maybe games in this state dont need the physical copy. That really gives the impression its complete. Meanwhile a complete and wonderful product like Cuphead has no physical copy. Go figure.

Wait this is on shelves?!

I didn't know this, what?????? Nah.

Oh. Interesting.  Well I still think that is what the person meant. Even though that appears to be wrong.

I wonder how many people are buying it "now" think they will get a discount on the full version later on?

Isn't it weird to charge $30 for a "early access" version, and a full retail version?

That is my main issue with this whole situation bro!

You know what's weird? EA for Fortnite costs 40€ and above and it's going to Be f2p for everyone when it's released. Why aren't the concerned ones fighting that war? THAT is scummy practise I'd say.
