I'm here, so you can name down...

So we are know comparing a 100k bump WoW with what Zelda and Mario done?

I didn't even know it was you or that there was a parallel discussion on another thread, I recall reading it earlier this year.

I never said I consider them on that level, Nintendo consoles have their software sales very focused on nintendo games and they are bigger system pushers for sure. Still, my point is that these games keep bringing a new crowd of gamers each year despite being multiplatform and annual releases, which is why I think Sony's deal with EA and Activision was a right move.

I still expect games like TLOU 2 to move more hardware on an opening week since big exclusives do that BTW

Fair enough. Sure the yearly games bring some small new crowd each year and as exposed before with the price going down or people finally having the money they will jump on current Fifa, but still individually those games aren't much of system seller.

At least from where I look at the SW on Sony and Nintendo, PS sells more on a collective library and Nintendo have bigger individual system sellers (that of course during the course of a gen make a very good library)

The PS4 is absolutely crushing it. I'm waiting for the games chart to catch up cause there must be some big release to account for this Nov 4th hardware chart's PS4 sales. (Yeah sorry I can't remember right now what big PS4 game came at that time).

I expect the Switch to be tougher to beat in the weeks following this chart though.

I dunno about that.

Unless some major adjustments are made to previous months.... VGC has to somehow attribute an average of 850k sales per week for the rest of November if they want to match Sony's announced 70M+ sell through number up to December 3rd.

Its confirmed the NS lost November and came in last. Can't see a way that it outsells the PS4 any week of that month globally. In japan maybe, but definitely nowhere else.

Can we remember that it's at 70 million sold through as of the 3rd. So somehow with all of these ridiculous sales, PS4 is still 3.5 million undertracked. Madness.

Agree with that

Same point i was making above. Maybe some major readjustments will be made to previous weeks. But if VGC wants to stand with their current numbers then  it means around 4M+ PS4s were sold in the rest of november.

Thats like 1M sales average per week, though I am guesing realistically it will be high or lower in some weeks. Either way, I see the PS4 winning globally here for the rest of november.

There is also what we know about how many consoles Nintendo is trying to ship each month. So there isn't really a way that it could have sold more than 2M in November unless there was some kinda stock backlog. And nintendo just announced 10M sales. Which kinda confirms that 2M shipping number.

Funny how we have heard absolutely nothing from MS.

Considering October were likely the first month that it wasn't totally outsold and it probably had very small on stock, I would say the backlog was quite small even if Nintendo reserved some stock in their factories.

And we never hear much from MS on sales, but I was expecting at least some "fastest selling mid gen refresh" or best BF or November for Xbox One ever.
