Forums - Politics Discussion - Israel-Palestine: Which "solution" do you prefer?

I do not have the answer. But it is all stupid. If every people were entitled to land they “owned” thousands of years ago, the world would be a damn mess.

Americans amuse me. Many claim that the Israelis have every right to the land they possessed for thousand of years (although they were not the rulers for many of those years). They have a right it historically.

Yet their American ancestors subjected the Native Americans to this exact same scenario and if the Natives wanted to “do a Israel” and reclaim all their land (as the rulers of it) all these Americans that support Israel will not support the Natives. Serious double standards.

I say let bygones be bygones.

I have friends on both sides of this fence (Palestinian and Israeli) and I am glad they see the stupidity of a bunch of religious nutcases that wanted to “prove the bible is true” by fulfilling this “prophecy” that the Jews will return to their homeland by the power of GOD. The bible also clearly stated that this land will always be disputed. Cue the leaders to deliberately again fulfill this “prophecy”.

Again, it doesn't chage reality. Only a military invasion of Taiwan killing million could change it.

Video description proves my point ...

"Taiwanese officials are NOT declaring Independence" therefore they maybe a country but an independent one is still of question ...

If Taiwan really wanted to prove that it is an independent country then show it to the world and especially the PRC ...

The only thing they don't have is their own declaration of independence like the US ...

Taiwan knows it'll never be independent at this rate ...

If you definition of being independent is make people notice the elephant in the room. Yes. My definition of independence is no chinese force can enter Taiwan soil without being received under bullets.

Jerusalem is the where the Israel govenment works. But yes anybody can live in denial if it means avoid war.

The key point is that Taiwan doesn't fully recognize it's own independence, full stop so that is all that matters ...

Can a nation really proclaim itself to be an independent country if they themselves don't recognize so ?

I think this is getting off-topic, maybe open a new thread ...

Yes. China don't have a single say in Taiwan affairs. Different from Catalonia which is under Spanish control.
