This is subjective, but I think this will be one of the best Nintendo´s Generations ever in the Gaming history. Nintendo Switch is the first Hybrid Console, You can play anywhere (Portable) or 1080p-900p in your house. When you consider the great Exclusive Games  coming and avaible Games now:

-ZELDA BOTW (GOTY and best game this generation according to Metacritic)

-Super Mario Odyssey (Second best game this generation according to Metacritic)

-Xenoblade Chronicles 2 (Great JRPG)

-Arms ( A New IP and A good Fighting Game with motion controls)

-Splatoon 2 (an innovative shooter game)

-Mario Kart 8 Deluxe ( the best Karting Game ever)

-Fire Emblem Warrior (Good Warrior Game)

-Pokken Tournament

-Mario and Rabbids (Basically Nintendo X-COM)

-Super Bomberman R (Return of a Classic, With  Excellent Free DLC)

-1-2 Switch

-FAST RMX (Basically F-Zero)

-Snipperclips Plus

-Shinobi Refle: Senran Kagura

Now Switch  is be big but the next two years Nintendo just brought confirmation that will also be releasing on Nintendo Switch :

-Bayonetta 2 (+ Bayonetta 1, The best Hack&Slash This Gen)

-Pokemon main

-Yoshi

-Kirby

26 EXCLUSIVE GAMES ON NINTENDO SWITCH FOR 2019  UNTIL NOW

The quantity and quality is Amazing , and there will obviously be a ton of multiplataforms as well: DQXI, Wolfenstein II,  Inazuma Eleven Ares, etc.

I think Bayonetta 2 will be a Deluxe Version  Like  TLOU R (DLC) on PS4 OR MK 8D, so i believe is a Exclusive on Switch and Bayonetta 1 is a gift (on Physical version)

It´s Ok if you don´t like 1-2 Switch but there are still 25 Exclusive Games (including the GOTY 2017)

Good Argument but also it is a  Nintendo Console. the question is: do You considering, Halo TMCC, Persona 5, Street Fighter 5, Uncharted NDC,  GOW, TLOU, NIOH, NIER, Shadow of the colossus, Crash,etc like exclusive Games?

"is next year the best year in the history for playstation in the history of the world!!??" threads are completely uneccessary. no one here has played any of those games, so people assume that all games listed will turn out great. this thread should be made at the end of 2018, not the start.

Yeah I think Switch could be the best Nintendo system since SNES.

A few reasons why:

1) unified software development. All of Nintendo's best teams will be working on Switch, without splitting their workload across two platforms.
2) lack of competition in the handheld space. Switch will inherit the lion's share of 3rd party content previously released on 3DS and Vita.
3) Nintendo's done a great job courting indie developers and it shows in the eshop.
4) the games we've seen so far. Switch has played host to three masterworks in its first nine months. Who knows what it can turn out over a five year period, or longer.

Too early for me. Lots of exclusives but, to me, having games I want to play is more important. Luckily, the has been doing very well on that front, too. It's gained a pretty good library of first and third party content,  consideringhow young the console is.

I always had this rule of thumb...I need 5 games I need to play before I will buy a system..

I think it’s impressive that, after just 3/4 of a year, the console has already 5 games I consider as must play exclusives which will make me buy one as soon as I’m able to.

Tbf people mention Shadow of the Colussus' remake when talking about how great PS4 will be next year. Nothing wrong with mentioning a remake as a console's strength.

It's good so far. However with the Switch being the only 9th generation console being out it is technically the worst of the 9th generation consoles. Nintendo can do better.
