Do you seriously expect Nintendo to not have anything for 2018? Wishful thinking at best.

From the company that dumped Wii U on us...yes...I'm expecting it...maybe what a mario game...super meat boy forever...

Wishful thinking would be a new Star Tropics game !!!!

Xenoblade is already out i think...(wish it was multiplat)

do you know of any big switch games coming out that we dont know about?

If you're expecting the baseline of the Switch's software output to be that of the Wii U's with the combined development effort of what used to be split between consoles and portables, then I feel pretty confident saying you'll be wrong on that.  Besides, "big" is irrelevant, your post said decent. Kirby, Yoshi, and Fire Emblem will all be decent and all are listed for 2018.

I can't imagine other software we don't know about not being dated for 2018 though, many games that released in 2017 for the Switch were announced in the same year.

Ni no kuni is available on PC
Shadow of the colossus is an amazing game, but I don't count remakes or remasters for the greatest line-up. So if we count exclusives that actually sell more than 2 million we have Spiderman, Detroit, Days Gone and God of War. Which is considered a very exclusive good line-up. God of War is one of the biggest Sony IP's and count me in for a 25-35 hour adventure. This year is perhaps the best for PS4 so far. But third party games can really make it stand out, especially RDR II. Good times for Playstation.

You don’t think Dreams will sell more than 2 million? If they deliver on what they’re saying, I think it could be quite big. And why not count SotC? If it was a just a port, I could understand that, but it’s being entirely revamped. And there’s a ton of hype for it.

I don't think dreams will even come remotely close to 2 million units. It is just to complex and ambitious for the casual gamer. Well we are talking about the greatest Playstation in history so I don't think remasters add much value. But I do admit I am hyped for it and I am going to buy it. I also think it will struggle hitting 2 million units.

Please excuse my (probally) poor grammar

FYI...does Nintendo even have any other decent comes for 2018 besides coasting on BOW...

Also worth keeping in mind that Nintendo tends to show things much later in their development cycle than Sony, who announce a lot of their things in the very early stages. In terms of first-party stuff, I expect Nintendo to have more left to reveal for 2018 than Sony, whose hand is probably mostly played.

I would think so, but isn’t Minecraft pretty complex in terms of how many things there are to build and create? I’ve seen people play Minecraft, and I just had no desire to play bc it felt overwhelming. Yet it’s massively popular.

Wii U was faile and worst selling Nintendo console ever, with sucha circumstances on mind Nintendo actualy gave solid support to Wii U. Switch is totaly difrent, has great sales and will be successful platform, also its basically unified Nintendo platform where Nintendo don't need to divide any more resources on separate handheld and separate home console platforms, in other words all Nintendo support is just for Switch.

You need to realise that Nintendo with Switch in most cases is announcing games only couple months before launch, beacuse they are focusing on games that will be out in near future, last year in this time we didnt know nothing about Switch linuep, last example is for Bayonetta 1 and 2, they basically announced them only two months before launch. So basically we still don't know about majority of Switch 2018. lineup, but January Direct will be good start. Even Reggie recently said they will talk about 2018. games after holiday season because they are now focused on holiday season.

2019 will be even better

Maybe not in quantity, but I agree with you in terms of quality. 2018 has an impressive number of AAA games releasing. But if tlou2, Death Stranding, and Ghost of Tsushima all release in 2019, I think it will very likely beat out 2018, for my personal tastes.

Between my switch and PS4 I have to much already.

Going to be a great year for gaming and fully expect titles not even aware of to make an impact in 2018.

OP updated with the new release dates for GOW and Detroit and with Days Gone’s delay.

The best GAMES-YEAR ever. So amazing for PS4-Owner!!
