I propably know more than you about it, but i do not hype all the games like you. Nintendos big hits are splatoon, mario ( in all variants with luigi )  zelda, pokemon and metroid. I do not call animal crossing or pikmin or kid icarus or whatever big hits, or titles  a lot of people would buy a switch for. Like i said i know more than you. One of my best friends is chief of nintendo here in switzerland. I know some facts. But of course you are offended cause Nintendo lost big times in November. Sorry brah

I know you're trying to go for a neutral and objective comment, but the tail end of it kind of ruins it. Again, the PS4's first post-launch NPD was only 61k above Switch's first NPD. And while I don't necessarily think that the Switch will go near PS4 levels(PS4 will be the 2nd best selling home console of all time after all), I don't think this would "debunk" it going near Wii levels. If anything, if we're to do this flat analysis with no context whatsoever that leads to the conclusion that Switch can't come close to Wii or PS4, than we can come to the reverse conclusion using the same lack of context. The Switch would be more likely to be near Wii or PS4 levels because it's so close to them. I know that's an exaggeration, but again that's just taking these numbers in with no context, which could be used to skew the narrative positively or negatively. In this thread, it seems to be more so the latter than the former.

All this really tells us taking context into account is that A ) The PS4 closed the gap Switch was building since it's March release(Switch had like 500k more sales than PS4 in the U.S. after March 3rd) and B ) That better deals get more sales.

Animal Crossing is big on Gameboy and i speak about consoles and not from sales 10 years ago lol. Mario is one franchise it doesnt matter how many mario games are coming, Mario fans already have switch, Jesus. Just like i said most of all Nintendo Fans already have a switch, and in the future you only will see big bumps in sales ( worldwide not just japan nitpicking ) when metroid launches, of course pokemon and the next smash brothers. Animal Crossing wont do wonders. 

You have it backwards. The PS4 is great already so the need to upgrade simply isn’t there. Pro is still 350% as fast as X1...if you want to call that underwhelming, go ahead. I'm sure you will also tell us that the 40% more power the X1X has is “a world of a difference”!

It is impossible for all Mario fans to have a Switch already. 3D Mario typically sells ~12 million, there arent even that many Switches sold yet so how does every Mario fan have one? They dont.
