We will find out on Januray.

We will found out about part of 2018. lineup (mostly spring and summer lineup), they will not talk about holl 2018. lineup.

Hopefully just a tease. A super smash one for holiday 2018 will shut those people up. xD

Pocky Lover Boy!

Yes, we can definitely can have one big announcement for second half of year on holiday season, for instance Smash Bros or Animal Crossing, but offcourse they will not reveal hole 2018. linuep in January.

Didn't they say a few months ago that they wanted to focus more on casuals in 2018?

Anyways, it seems like 2018 may be a year with lots of smaller games (varying from casual to hardcore), and less AAA games - although it's still too early to tell that.

Sony has a serious problem? All the games you listed are nothing compare to the amount of quality games sony have for 2018. Ill be getting ni no kuni 2, dragon ball fighter z, monster hunter world and final fantasy dissidia in January, just the month of January!

Yeah, it seems like both Sony and Nintendo will have a very solid 2018.

Depends on what the definition of 'niche' is. Which is impossible because everyone has their own idea of what is niche.

Once multiple installments start breaking the 1 million (or even 2 million) barrier, like what happened with the more recent ones, I think it's safe to say it's no longer niche.

So is persona no longer niche cause P4G broke 1.7 mil and p5 broke 1 mil

I don't think so. Constant 1 mil is not enough. Constant 3 mil plus is more like it. Metroid is niche, probably one of the more popular niche franchises but still niche. It always breaks 1 mil usually breaks 2 but never breaks 3 mil.

I never really thought of The Yoshi or Kirby series as being core gamer experiences...

Have a nice day...

I’m looking forward to it. They surprised me with the Bayonetta stuff this morning as well which is an added bonus.

I think Nintendo has been focusing on the core since 2012...well except 2016 when they didn't focus at all...

Maybe they did. But when they released the WiiU with NSMBU and NintendoLand they just did it wrong.
