Because there's a 100m potential market of which 1m bought Bayonetta 1.

It is rather strange to imagine Bayonetta exclusive to Nintendo, talk about tonal difference. No chance of it every coming back to other consoles, but I think the move benefit the Bayo franchise. Other consoles have beat'em ups but Nintendo didn't really have one (At least not off the top of my head) so it gets all the attention. I'd say its more popular with Nintendo than it was with PS3/XB360.

Your bias is showing. Nier is not a Platinum Games IP. They were just the contracted developer. Just like they were on Metal Gear Rising.

Today there's no "they didn't want to publish my game!". If Sega is still the owner of the Bayonetta IP, then they purposely ignored 100m gamers, that is to say 93% of the gaming population. This is anti-democratic behavior and thus shouldn't be tolerated. They will not mock PS4/X1 players and get away with it!

Normally I would have made a thread but I'm too old for this now, and frankly I don't really give a sh** anymore. There are so many great games out there to be experienced. I'll skip Bayo 2&3 and that's all.
Besides I have to go outside because Hoenn generation has just popped on Pokemon Go.

After Sony paid to keep mh world off of the switch I really don't give a damn. If the other companies are going to play dirty so should nintendo
