I think it will do well, simply because it's a handheld and it offers different types of gaming experiences compared to Sony and MS. They are basically in different markets where Switch players are mostly interested in simpler games and classic JRPG's. However, as a home console the Switch can't really compete, especially when next gen hits. And since the bulk of the Switch owners also own a ps4, we will probably see a drop in games sold on the Switch when the ps5 comes out.

Best selling PS4 games

GTAV
COD 1
COD 2
COD 3
COD 4
RDR2

Those games aren't available on the Nintendo Switch, why would Switch be affected by the console that primarily played third party games? PS4 and XBO are the ones that will be affected the most by PS5 and XSX.

2019 sales figure of PS4+XBO = ~20m

Animal Crossing New Horizon is NSW exclusive
Breath of the wild 2 is NSW exclusive
New 3D Mario is NSW exclusive
New 2D Mario is NSW exclusive
New Mainline Pokemon is NSW exclusive
New Remake Pokemon is NSW exclusive

Beat me to it, lol.  I think if anything the launch of the PS5/XSX will help Switch the next couple years in sales, likely pushing 20+ million per year which is crazy.  It also points to the possible failure of a PS5 launch like the PS3 was since people don't buy PS/Xbox for their exclusive titles.

Nintendo with the Switch:

Around the Network

The tears from this thread fuel me like fake Mandalorian bounty hunters do the Sarlacc Pit.

Huge proof that wrong opinions are very much a thing.

I don't know. I don't think it'll hit 53M.
