To you everybody is clueless when they are not pro Nintendo. But the truth is that you are just a blind nintendo Fan. I dont understand it anyways how someone can be such a Nintendo fan after the wii u desaster, and playing the same franchises over and over again, seems that your expectations arent very high. Next year sales will drop big times, and everybody who says that nintendo doesnt need 3rd party support is just stupid

It just hit 10 million in 9 months.

And now what? Of course the most Fans already bought a switch. But the funny thing is, that PS4 destroys those sales in its 4th (!!!) year

...because console sales usually peak in 3rd or 4th years? In any case, if your sales are being compared to the PS4 of all things you know you're in a good position, really.

This doesnt mean it has do be same way for the switch, maybe its the next nintendo device that is dead after 4 years. Maybe next year PS4 sales will have huge declines. There arent any rules for consoles sales when it comes to years lol. Its Exclusivs, good Hardware, strong 3rd and 2nd party support and a good network that generate sales. In my opinion nintendo have nothing of this. I dont say Mario, Zelda etc is bad, imo they are just not as near as good like fans says or the nintendo loving reviewers lol

Well if that's the case then yeah, that's great for the PS4, congratulations to it.

Your point?

Becuase the other dude thinks that it has to be same for switch in its 4th year have its peak in sales. When we consider that the PS4 have its strongest year while the switch was launched, does say that Nintendo isnt on a winning streak like people think they are. Switch wont do 50 million + sales. Theres only a chance for better sales when Nintendo decides not to bring a new gameboy on the market. And they will bring a new gameboy, nintendo is greedy they want more than a console on the market. And dont come with its a handheld too, for nintendo the Switch takes its place as console, not as a handheld

Oh, look, yet another clueless person who doesn't understand console sales.

http://www.vgchartz.com/tools/hw_date.php?reg=Global&ending=Yearly

Do you see those lines? Those are called "sales curves". Do you see how they gradually increase and then decline? That's because console sales tend to have something called a "peak," which is the period of highest sales. Before a console reaches its peak, its sales rate increases, and afterward its sales rate decreases. PS4 is either at or about to reach its peak. Switch has just launched and is not at its peak. This is something that should be obvious to anyone with even a little bit of common sense.

Do you know what PS4's fourth year also "destroys"? Its first year.

Even the supposedly front-loaded Wii sold more in its fourth year than in its first.

Didn't they say that they're not planning to release a new handheld anytime soon?

It sold 10M already. And there is 3 months and a half before its first year ends. So yeah, it will sell more than 50M
