Donna Burke who previously worked on songs for the Metal Gear Solid franchise as well as the voice actress for Mrs. Arrow in F-Zero GX is currently working with Nintendo according to her twitter account. This marks a trend for Nintendo embracing quite often Voice Acting and Singing in their games as opposed to the past.

Going by the number of bottles of water I lean towards thinking she is involved with the music for some title rather than VA, still she could be involved with music for Prime 4, Nintendo doesn't have many announced titles that fit with sang music other than Prime 4 and Fire Emblem

Well, previous Metroid games have had voice acting, so I wouldn't be all that shocked if it did too.
