Please, no more gen 1 pandering......i'm sick of it. Whether it be megas in X/Y, Alolan forms in Sun/Moon, or the entirety of pokemon go, I'm just done with it.

I will call quits from the series if the next game is r/b/y remake.

Bet with Intrinsic:

The Switch will outsell 3DS (based on VGchartz numbers), according to me, while Intrinsic thinks the opposite will hold true. One month avatar control for the loser's avatar.

So Martin Luther King dreams about the black and white man eating together at the table of brotherhood and you can only dream about dedicated Pokemon players? Come on man....

I highly doubt he actually dreamed about that. That being said, I'm a white teacher at a 99% black city that is almost entirely on free reduced lunch, and I get along very well with the staff and students, so I guess we are living proof that Martin's dream at least partially came true?

It's kind of hard to remember dreams - even the ones you remember after waking up you tend to forget in a few days. Despite that I seem to feel like my dreams were kind of sad this year. I think the most recent one I had was about being a disappointment to my mom, but I can't remember any in-depth details.

For some reason, in the past few years, my dreams have become incredibly vivid and rememerable. Maybe I should start journaling.

Weird thing to dream about. I guess it's related to one of those toys you had and fondly remember.

I actually never had one of those things, but I do still remember how excited I was when Pokemon Red came out and I went to target with my mom worried sick that they would be sold out until I finally got it lol.

One of the issues with Pokemon is after Gen 2-3 the art design of most of the new pokemon has gone down hill, and it's gotten a little overwhelming remembering all 800-1000 of these things and what their type is. Also, at least so far, the story of Gen 1/2 and the tone of those games absolutely blows Ultra son's stupid SKull squad out of the water. Hopefully, they will stop vibing and gangsta dancing and actually have a real purpose soon, but for now they are just silly.

I still remember how epic it felt to search for and meet Red (from pokemon red/blue/yellow) after being silver/gold/crystal. I have always wondered what happened to him and his insanly leveled up Pikachu.

Not only do I want more pandering to Gen 1, I want actual sequels to Gen 1. And I'm hoping the team rainbow rocket in ultra sun is a stepping stone toward that (no spoilers please, as I haven't encountered them yet).

I'd rather see a retro Game and Watch system which is loaded with more than game A and game B.

Well, this may be subjective, but gen 1 has some of the worst pokemon design. A rock with arms? A mime that looks like a pedo? One magnet, that evolves into three of the same magnet? The abomination that is jynx? A pile of sludge? A toxic cloud? A poke ball with a face that evolves into an upside down pokeball with a face? lickitung? a few eggs? gimme a break. Its only beaten by gen 5 in that regard.

Dont mean to offend anyone, but these start of statements can only be made heavily tinted nostalgia glasses on.
