Looks like it's going to be a close month between the PS4 and Switch. And Pro is sold out, again? So good. Much demand.

If it's anything like last month, it may not be that close. Switch does great on Amazon but it may not reflect the same way in retail. Switch still doing fine numbers overall though.

Well my personal experience was right last month, last year, the year before last and the start of this generation. So i would say that it is right again, since it has not been wrong for the past 4 years. There were more Xboxes and Switches last month too and PS4 won.

Playstation was nowhere to be seen on the charts for November until 1 week of discount, and overall it sold x2 the number than switch. If this is the current trend then it would be difficult for switch to close this gap and sell more than sony imho. We're talking about 800k. Now the sales discounts havent been so high for PS4 in december, but I would think the gap will still be 300k. If its not then good job switch, but what with the earlier PS4 pro sales, and the star wars discounts, I do expect a strong sony christmas.

But its not like last month, last month XB1 and PS4 were ahead of Switch last month because huge BF price drops they had, and Nintendo usualy always have much better December compared to November.

It's very impressive that Switch has for now 3 games in top 5 selling games of December, also only two consoles in top 10 are currently only Switch consoles for December.

And this month Xbox is $189 and the PS4 is $249, so MS still doing the great deal, Sony $50 more expensive. So... its like last month, except the $50. So if we were just going on price it would surely mean an Xbox win, then PS4 then Switch, or is that not what your expectation? (it's not mine as its not always just cost, I think based on last month, it'll be PS4 > Xbox > Switch.

We can say that is same in case of MS, but $200 and $250 is not same in any case, also some of those people that bought PS4 or XB1 on BF bought them ahead of holiday season, and that wasn't case for Switch beacuse Switch didn't had any price cut during BF. And also again is not same like last month because last month PS4 and XB1 were ahead of Switch on Amazon for November, while now Switch is ahead of them. And again, Nintendo usualy have much better December compared to November and thats not case for PS4 and XB1. So Switch will have in any case much better month than it had in November.
