One good objective point that any reasonable person would agree with is the way he has gone after American hostages. He is really, really good at getting our people back. Like most recently with the Kim summit, he got our hostages on good faith and then canceled that shit lol. He’s ruthless and it’s hilarious, the summit is back on of course but even if it wasn’t, we still got our people back. He didn’t have to trade terrorist leaders or fly billion dollar pallets (of different untraceable currencies) to secret drop spots like Obama did. He’s good at negotiations because people think he’s crazy, he’s playing those people like a fiddle.

You do realize that 10 NK hostages were returned during Obama's term, right?

Shhh. No place for facts here. Only feelings

Lol that people still insist that the United States should have continued to keep Iran's money.

I would not consider that a good thing.  You get something then you cancel a agreement.  What it does is make it look like the American president cannot be trusted.  When your word is your bond, why would anyone trust you after that.  Now when you go into Negotiations, they will bring up that very incident, show where you have either lied or been deceitful and thus ask for the world.  There is nothing really smart about how he goes about negotiations.  First he threatens then he wants to go to the table believe these countries must deal the way he sees fit.  The problem is that they will all just sit tight and see what happens in 2 years or 6.  Also, since we do not know, how things will go with these negotiations, you cannot really give him any credit until the ink drys on the agreement.

That's because you are looking at it wrong. The hostages were not a part of the negotiations, he didn't go back on his word the meeting is still on. When NK stopped taking calls on the summit and were talking shit about Pence and others then Trump canceled the meeting. The NKs were begging to be back at the table the next day. He doesn't take shit from them and it scares them. My point is that the negotiations themselves are great and new. They might fail on their face but the attempt is progress. The hostages were just being a good president. He personally released 17 hostages in his first year and pardoned a bunch of people as well.  He pardoned Scooter Libby to take a jab at Mueller and even Kim Kardashian's friend as a celebrity President. That's unheard of but it's not unconstitutional, it's nontraditional. It's well within the authority of the President but they usually wait to the end of their presidency to do most of that stuff. He is good at negotiations, I'm a free market guy so I loathe the tariff system. That's for countries without an income tax. He's using tariffs to jab our allies in the face. It's a shakeup for sure but it's not destroying anything. Like a big brother terrorizing his sibling. Lower your tariffs and i'll lower mine, lower your tariffs and i'll lower mine. When you actually look at the broader scope of things it can be comedic genius.

Fact: "During Obama's term"

False Feelings: Because of Obama

See that's a different discussion than this though. I'm talking about the way Obama gave them their money in secret pallets of untraceable world currencies. Traded terrorists for deserters. Obama funded terrorism through his deals. Hostages are a precursor to the deal for Trump, not the actual deal.  You are saying it wasn't a ransom payment because it was their money right? If Trump did that for these NK hostages he would be impeached tomorrow and rightfully so.

I have nothing against the Iranian people but I agree with sanctions instead of outright conquest and world building.  I agree with significantly easing the sanctions on NK if they denuclearize and I would feel the same way about Iran. It gives the people a fighting chance to figure their own shit out or continue down the familiar. If someday the Iranian people actually get their government back then I wouldn't care if they had nuclear weapons. Same with Korea or even Japan for that matter, who cares.

Lol.  Do you seriously think the recent three releases were directly because of Trump?

Absolutely. Including the Venezuela  one.

Trump went into the G7 meeting,
Demanded, Russia reinstated - we said no
Blames everyone else for the tariffs - we looked at him like he was insane.
Starts screaming about ending all trade with the west -the world laughs at him.
Farted loudly, blames it on Ivanka.
Rates the meeting a 10/10

I describe myself as a little dose of toxic masculinity.

Trump had an excellent meeting with chubby North Korean Chairman, Kim Jong-Un. Kim Jong-Un was cheered by fans on streets and he posed in selfies with adoring fans before the Trump meeting in Singapore. Kim Jong-Un is a great leader and Trump is now a fan. Donald Trump can learn a lot by the strong leadership of Kim Jong-Un. The North Korean people adore their beloved leader, chubby Kim Jong-Un. The Trump-Kim Jong-Un meeting may lead to free trade in North Korea, stronger relations with North and South Korea and North Korea becomes as a tourist destination.

No, I was not looking at it wrong.  The hostages were a good faith deal heading up to the conference.  Good faith meaning that NK was willing to do this for nothing just to get things started.  If the US backs out then it appears they are not horning this agreement and look like they are not honorable.  I do not know if NK was begging to come back to the table since we only heard that statement from from Rudy and who in their right mind believes a word that comes out of his mouth.  Also after we see the agreement the President signed with NK, well, I can definitely see if they did begged for the meeting it was because school was about to be put in session.  Basically, Trump gave them everything they wanted which is to remove US presence from that part of the world.  This has long been something China has wanted for years, including NK.  In return we got nothing.  We got some vague statement that NK will try to do something but nothing hard or confirmed.  Nothing where we can actually even check to see if they are honoring the deal or anything.

Where exactly has he shone he is good at negotiations.  He said he would fix Health care, nothing.  He said he would fix Nafta, still waiting on something.  He institute tariffs but how exactly is that actually helping.  All the different nations will just do the same but they will target the people who voted for Trump like China.  Every government has Tariffs even the US.  He was suppose to negotiate first then if those do not go well, start to go this route but starting with a threat then thinking other nations are going to come to the table and make deals is not going to end well.  No nation including the US will allow themselves to be pressured by threats to make a deal.  Instead, those other nations will strike back and wait.  They can easily see how the next election goes or even wait 6 years until Trump is out.  What Trump believe is that these nations will suddenly cave in but most of this stuff takes years to negotiate so they already know they can sit and play the game for as long as he is in office.

Its not comedic genius what it is total ignorance.  He has never govern and he has no political experience.  He goes to a summit and states he isn't going prepared and then gets his butt handed to him.  How many times can he continue to not prepare, study and just do his damn job without using his gut.  There is nothing smart about his approach and there hasn't been as a business man.  He loves to gamble but the stakes are a lot higher and the cost a lot deeper when you playing with millions of people lives instead of a business you can go bankrupt on using other people money.

If also means high quality of life for the ~25 million living there, that would be worthy of one of those nobel prize thingies as well.
