It’s very debatable actually, that the US really is a freer country than the European countries. Many, including myself, would argue the opposite.

I still don’t understand how any decision in the States affects your rights, because you are simply not an American.

Now I'm interested.  What do Europeans have in common (let's say >50% of EU) that outweighs, for example, that our speech is freer and we don't pay taxes to fund state religions?

I’ve visited the US several times already, as a kid for a school exchange or as an adult and I always felt like they’re living in a police state. Be it alcohol or drug laws, being monitored as a pupil or kid, like getting caught by the police and escorted home, just because you weren’t at home with 17 at 11pm...or during school times.

It always felt extremely restrictive to me, especially compared to Germany. I grew up with the images of the US being some kind of heavenly paradise, but initially ended up realising, that I was already living in paradise myself.

What do you mean with your speech is freer, btw?! You think freedom of speech isn’t a part of European constitutions?! I’d also argue that European Parliaments in general are much more democratic than in the US, since we usually have more than 2 parties.

Trump protects my right to own guns, because it is only because of guns that America is a free country. It is necessary that the people are allowed to own guns in order to protect themselves from the potential threat of a government that wants to limit the people's freedom or take it away entirely.

This is something that is of incredible importance in general, but much moreso during times like this.

 Liberals ALSO believe in freedom

Especially since Liberal actually means FREE, damnit.

You know these guys today just use the word liberal or leftist as a catch word, without even thinking about the values connected to it. Basically everyone who is not a tightwinged nutjob is a leftist liberal SJW whatever. And yeah, you’re right....RolStoppable seemingly just wants to provoke...that’s what he does.

I'm not that knowledgeable of European free speech laws, but I've heard from more than one source that Britain as an example has anti-blasphemy laws that would never fly in the USA.

—According to one of the posts here, French broadcast stations are required to do it in French and not foreign languages?  This sounds insane to most Americans!  "French radio stations have to broadcast in French."
Freedom of speech, continued:  https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Toubon_Law
—An American university, Georgia Institute of Technology, has a campus in French.  Their classes are taught in English.  They were sued for having their French website written in English.  The suit was thrown out on a technicality, but I guess they might otherwise have lost because they started changing their website to include French.  This would be laughed out of any American court, right after the guys in jail who sue their lawyer for a billion gajillion dollars for losing the case.  And apparently another American company was fined over half a million euros for a similar reason.

As for the American two-party setup versus European parliamentary stuff, how exactly does having a bunch more parties prove that you are more "free"?  Or are you moving on to another topic with this sentence?  If you are going for "more responsive to the will of the people", you might or might not win that argument on the national level, but I'd also be curious how your more local governmental organizations compare to our state, county, and city governments.  (& a few other types of body such as some metropolitan areas have set up, for instance)

I have the most epic death scene ever in VGChartz Mafia.  Thanks WordsofWisdom!

Good President. Keep up the good work Trump.

Trump's a loser compared to Obama. He still hasn't won the Nobel Peace Prize or overthrown a Middle east dictator.

Trump paid $130,000 to prostitute/porn star to remain silent about their affair. The whore now wants more money and declares the contract was invalid. $130,000 not enough! Clear case of extortion against Mr Trump.

If Trump isn't ashamed about his affair and isn't ashamed of resorting to prostitutes while married, he shouldn't need to shell out ANY hush money. He should own up to his behaviour and accept that he's that sort of person. Typical double standard of those types of people. He wants to come across as pious and righteous, but the fact is he's just another idiot Neanderthal who can't control himself. He's barely crawled out of the primordial soup.

If he's not married or in a relationship, pay for as much sex etc as you want as you aren't hurting anyone and again you won't need to pay out hush money. Win for him and win for the prostitute.

The prostitute is just a business woman. Trump should admire the fact that she's looking to make more money. That Is the angle he's always looking for, for his organisation while president. That's what he's getting out of being president, isn't he? Look how classy he is using the presidency seal in selling his own Trump mugs - https://twitter.com/BySteveReilly/status/971164396444684288/

Just when you think a president can't sink any lower, Trump shows that his depths of depravity for money extend in all directions.

Donald trump has an affair with a porn star, pays 130k to keep her quiet, Republicans act like it's extortion.

Bill Clinton gets a blowjob from an intern, lies about it, Republicans get him impeached.

Clearly republicans care more about winning some war against democrats than, you know, making the country better.
