I voted Obama twice, voted for Gore and voted for BIll Clinton. I voted Trump and have zero regrets. I laughed when Trump announce his presidency and at first figured Hillary was just going to walk away with it. I would not have voted for any other Republican candidate besides Trump and would have most definitely voted Bernie Sanders if it was between him and another Republican. Aside from all of the BS CNN and MSNBC etc. spew day in and day out Trump has it right on a number of issues, none of which are racist. Living in California I have first hand experience with the issues involving illegal immigration and the costs associated with it. Schools are overcrowded, programs are being created specifically catering to illegals that is taking funding away from other programs. More low cost housing is needed and a lot of single family homes become multi family homes with 7-8 people in a 2 bedroom house with a ton of cars lining the streets. I worked at a welding company for awhile as a side job and 90% of the employees were illegal, that kept the wages way down from what they should have been. A job that should pay 20+ per hour was paying them at best 11 per hour and in most cases well below minimum wage with no benefits.
Trumps "America first" isn't what the left spins it as. Us and every other nation need to take our different situations into consideration in any and all relationships with others. Why would we not want to make our country stronger? WHy wouldn't every other country want to do the same? Its not saying that we wont work with other countries or help out when we can but it is saying that we will not just be handing out money and taking it on the chin whenever we trade with other countries.
NK should have been dealt with decades ago. Now it is even more imperative that we ensure sanctions are working and other countries in the UN are following what is agreed upon. Nobody should be trading with them or assisting them unless they agree to follow international law. That is a prerequisite for playing on the world stage.
I also like the fact that Trump isn't afraid to say what's on his mind. I may not agree with his delivery sometimes but overall I agree with the message.

1. With that line of thinking, I cannot see how you were heavily Democrat before Trump.
2. You sound like your mad at the illegals rather than the companies illegally hiring them. Wonder how much that welding company would have to charge if they paid full wages.
3. You are using crumb logic. The rich take 90%, leaving everyone else to fight over the remaining 10% and you've rather complain about the illegals trying to get your 10% than the rich taking the 90%. Getting rid of the illegals problems still leave you fighting for that 10%. And let me be blunt, the rich want you to fight the illegals for that 10% so you don't focus on the 90%. You are doing exactly what Trump and his ilk want.

I'm not mad at the illegals at all. They are trying to have a better life than their country can provide. My issue is with the legality of it and the strain it puts on our society by not doing it legally. Knowing how many people are migrating to a particular area is hugely beneficial for infrastructure planning and development. Things like water resources, electricity, housing, roads etc. all need to be designed for not only the number of people in an area but for some growth as well. The number of schools is also dependent on that number or you end up with large overcrowding situations.
Any Employer that hires illegals needs to be held accountable. The fines should be in the millions per employee.
I am not using crumb logic at all. The rich don't "take" anything. They earn based on what their businesses make just like anyone else. In Trump's original tax plan a lot more write offs were eliminated than what is currently in the new approved tax plan. The rich still pay the lion's share of tax and always will based on income. Even with everyone paying the same percentage the rich pay more.
I'm not fighting for immigration reform solely on jobs and neither are the majority of people for it. That is one aspect of a large problem. I listed others above. At the end of the day we need to know who is coming into our country, they need to be verified and they need to go through the process of becoming a citizen. They need to prove that they understand how our country works and what rules/laws we are supposed to abide by. They need to be paid and taxed just like everyone else and not given things for free or "protected" based on where they came from. Once you are a citizen you are no different than any other citizen.
