So you disagree on the financial costs of the wall but you agree with the humanitary aspect of it?

Because yeah you dont like americans crossing borders because some of them vote badly, or was that a jokecomment?

Somebody get this man a medal! The mental gymnastics he's pulling are next-level!

There's so much wrong with your statement - all of them - that I honestly don't even know where to start. Furthermore, I LOVE that you seem to think I'm being facetious or trollish for calling out hypocrisy.

Border walls are bad. They are very bad. They are stupid from all angles, be it financial, social, ecological, or in terms of global relations. It's bad no matter what, but the fact that Americans can somehow elect a person who's pro-wall (And anti-brown-people in general) and will do anything to keep out 'undesirables' from south of the border but then seek asylum in Canada is hilarious.

The hypocrisy is so thick I can taste it, cut it with a knife, and enjoy it on a bagel!

Stop trying to twist my words to suit your narrative. I shouldn't have to write an essay explaining 'being racist and spending a lot of money on it is bad for multiple reasons' just because you deliberately misunderstand the things I say.

So I repeat: Your mental gymnastics are impressive, but ultimately a foolish waste of time.

Quite easy to be upset by 2 simple questions and also thank you for calling out hypocrisy by being a hypocrite, that will surely teach us to be better humans.

It is just strange that you think the thought of letting no american refugees into canada is justified because voting behaviour while at the same time you are very much against blocking people coming into America from the south but yeah i guess that is racist right? You should also focus on your own narrative if you want to be agendadriven and do not want people to call you out for it.

Lol he actually declared a national emergency. Personally i don't think he should have done it because declaring a national emergency is put in place to give the President some liency during a war. But afaik there is no legal definition of a national emergency so he has the power to do it but still this sets a bad precedent. I do admire his dedication to keep his campaign promises though.

Here is the problem with Trump.  While it seems like he is dedicated to his campaign promise in reality its not.  My reason is that when he was asked questioned on why he declared a NE, he could not come up with anything remotely justifying it.  He and his administration had plenty of time to work up something and that NY Times interview was so embarrassing that the Trump supporters that I know said they had to turn it off because he was mumbling incoherently.

If he really thought this play is going to work, you would believe he and his administration would put more work into it, but instead what we will see is that it just a face saving effort.  He will lose big time and his administration will look the fools again.  He will then go on the campaign trail and blame everyone that he tried but in reality he really didn't do anything.

At the end of the day, he played into the Dems hand.  He put himself into a corner with the shutdown, then the Dems took every option away forcing him to go down this route knowing it will totally nuke the GOP.  Hell, just the eminent domain claims themselves could have this tied up in court for years.  Just those cases will slap an injunction on any building effort.  This will give Polesi and the Dems time to put the NE up for vote on the House and Senate floor.  It will force every GOP to vote on the President taking away the purse strings from Congress and you can believe none of them wanted that to happen.

As I stated before, since Trump only cares about Trump and since he is not a Republican nor even care about the party, I knew he was going to pull the trigger on this NE and hell will break lose within the GOP.

The point is don't just abandon ship, fix your damn country.

Are you talking about America or Mexico?

Cause the way you think about each seems to be conflicting and that is my point but do not let that upset you.

It's obvious that he is dedicated to his campaign promise. He would not declare a NE if he was not. Yeah keeping his promise will make him look good to his base but that can be said about any politician.

Idk if it would work. Its legal since he has the power to declare a NE and their is no legal definition afiak on what is an emergency. Will probably fail in the lower courts and maybe 50/50 chance in the SC.

If his base was 50% of America then you will have something but the US is more than just his base.  Just concentrating on his base isn't enough to move the needle come 2020.  We will see how dedicated he is.  Once the lawsuits fly and his administration has to defend it we will see how much work they put into their preparation.  His promise was that Mexico will build this wall, that is what he sold on the campaign trail, every step of the way the wall got smaller and smaller to the point out of the 2K miles it dropped to 200.  The key is no matter how this goes down, he gave the Dems a gift.  Also do not forget that there is no time frame when the House can call an end to the NE.  Once that goes for a vote the Senate has 15 days to vote on it.  This will force every GOP to consider letting a President take away the purse strings from congress.  Its going to be a blood bath.

Great news, Trump is declared a national emergency so he can build his wall to fulfil his main election promise. In Trump's wall we Trust! Build the Wall! It is all about the Wall! Immigration and protecting borders is a big deal in the modern world: conservative/nationalist governments stay in power by pushing anti-immigration and stronger borders = stronger economy.

Stopping the boats will win the votes again like it has done in previous Australian elections. In Australia the government only has to run ads over and over  about immigration and stopping the boats and that wins enough support to keep the government in power and it has worked for the last 20 years in Australia.

Most former Presidents loyal base did not make up 50% of the nation. That does not mean that they can't try to keep their promises. Mexico paying for the wall failed so he had to find another way to get the wall instead of the just leaving his promise behind all together. This could end up failing but it could also end up working in his favor.

The things you say are so blatantly disgusting that I honestly can't tell if you're sincere or a troll.

I've seen Onion articles with more believability than the nonsense you spew. The only way I can read your work and not want to leap through the internet to slap some sense into you is by assuming you're actually a liberal or at least reasonably minded person who created a hardcore alt-right persona to satirize the extremist views of the modern political right in the US.

It's either that or your very existence is polluting the gene pool and making the world a worse place. I chose to believe the former.

Please don't confirm or deny it either way. I'd chose ignorance over knowing people like you actually exist and have influence over others.

I don't know if you're familiar with his opinions on Trump or other topics but I doubt one can have a fruitful discussion with him on this topic.
