Damn that looks great!
With what they've been saying about how this is the 'end/finale for the current avengers' and how everything that comes after A4 is a new time for the MCU, I really can't imagine any of them permanently dying at this point due to how integral they are to the MCU. Like, imagine the MCU moving on without Captain America, Iron Man, Thor, etc that would just be so weird to see. A lot of people are expecting character deaths in this movie though so it will be interesting to see what they do. Unless they pull a [character dies] and then is brought back to life with an infinity gem or something.
Looked pretty darn Awesome!
Especially the end when Thor says "who are you guys" and panned to Guardians

I'm fully expected Captain America to die in one of these 2 Avengers films, and then for Bucky to become Captain America. Or maybe poor Bucky will die :(
YEAH because yet another generic superhero crossover movie is exactly what we need! Justice League, Spiderman Homecoming and Batman vs. Superman weren't enough. No sir.

They've taken their time building it up after 10 years now. They certainly know their stuff! |
Except that in regards to Thanos, they haven't really built up to him at all. Showing his face at the end of other movies for a couple seconds, or seeing him sitting in a chair doing nothing isn't building up anything. Really, what does the casual movie viewing audience know about Thanos at this point? They know he's a purple dude with a glove and a creepy smile. For all they're concerned this guy coulda been the villain in the first avengers movie, because frankly, this trailer is the most they've ever seen of him, and what's the difference between this guy and his nondescript army of monsters, and Loki and a nondescript army of aliens? Right....the purple guy is bigger. Scary.
Only comic book fans really feel like Infinity War is this big culmination that everything has been building up to. For everyone else, it's just another Avengers movie, which will tie into the next one after that, and the next one after that, and so on.
