Forums - Sony Discussion - How many hours have you put into Gran Turismo Sport already?

Being online only doesn't stop hacking, GT Sport hacks are happening.

Mostly suspicious qualifying times yet here is one example caught on live stream

At 52:30 he's analyzing the incident in replay, suddenly the car is 4 seconds further ahead.

Amazing what lengths people go through to be nr 1, pushing, shoving, punting, and now hacking.

I understand hacking and cheating SP to pass something you can't, but when you do it to achieve first on MP you lose the main point that is improving and competing. Shallow victory.

Another tidbit was that PS4 in November 2017 sold more than any previous month on it's life, so that would outdo the release of PS4 or any december if the wording is right.

Sony’s PlayStation 4 has stayed at the top as the best-selling platform, and November didn’t change that. It stayed No. 1, and Sony also sold more consoles than any other month in the PS4’s lifetime.

This is the most shameful behavior I have seen yet

The grass isn't greener on the other side. Europeans really know how to troll in races! I'll stick with laggy Brazil :)

This guy should have been disqualified asap... what level of moronic person being overlapped do this kind of thing?

You are welcome to visit Brazil and we can play together.

You missed Nurb 24h finally showing up in the daily races.

I had a great day yesterday completing 14 races in Nurb 24h. (that's 7 hours lol) Not actually completing though, I never qualified, best result 5th from last, but never saw the finish line. Matchmaking kept putting DR.S drivers at the front all day with a spread of over a minute in qualifying times. The finish timer is only 40 seconds, most of the time only the top 3 finished!

I hope it come back as Nurb 24h is so much more fun to drive than any other track. I settled on the Corvette C7 as my car of choice after trying a bunch. Felt very satisfying to wrap that around the track dodging people that couldn't hold on. Not sure what my play time is now, 489 online races and counting.

GT League and new cars added

looking forward to some more traditional GT racing tonight

They added a new track variation as well, combination of the two Kyoto tracks. It's works quite well with two hairpins added and driving the smaller track in reverse. It's on daily race B today.

Online racing is getting better, way less incidents in the last week. I have been holding on to DR.B (and SR.S ofcourse) and match making is still paring me with very fast DR.A and sometimes DR.S players. No chance of winning yet the driving has been much better. I've also gotten better at anticipating bad behavior and avoiding sloppy drivers.

I already bought all the new cars, Samba bus! Tonight GT League.

Been playing quite a bit since 1.10 dropped. Been checking the boxes in GT League to earn cash to pick up the new vehicals, and take them for a drive in VR.

GT League should make a lot of people happy. It brings back all the traditional races the series is known for, and makes the single player more in line with Gran Turismos of the past. I still think the fact that Arcade mode allows to to make any race you want, while advancing your career, and earing cash and miles is the biggest addition to single player the series has ever seen, but it seems to much for some to wrap their heads around.

I am really enjoying the Cobra, Raptor, C3 Corvette, F40, and Samsabus. They have really added some variety to the driving experience. Looking forward to more classics, and SUV's/Trucks (hoping for a 1966 - 1977 Ford Bronco with the option to circumcise the rear wheel wells).

1.10 has been a very nice 1st update to the game. I am more excited about the new cars than anything. Going forward I really want them to allow us to earn Cash and Experience in VR though. I have only been playing outside of VR to earn money and expereince to play in VR. If I could just play in VR and continue to earn cash and expereince to unlock new cars and tracks I would never touch the 4K HDR version again.

Stop hate, let others live the life they were given. Everyone has their problems, and no one should have to feel ashamed for the way they were born. Be proud of who you are, encourage others to be proud of themselves. Learn, research, absorb everything around you. Nothing is meaningless, a purpose is placed on everything no matter how you perceive it. Discover how to love, and share that love with everything that you encounter. Help make existence a beautiful thing.

GT League was a nice diversion. The xp is good, I went from practically standing still at lvl 38 to lvl 41 now. It's not very challenging unless you use way under powered cars, which is how you can make great money and xp.

Best payout for time is the GT League pro professional lounge race in Blue moon speedway with the KTM Xbow dialed in to max N300 category, min weight. You're up against N1000 cars which means 150% handicap bonus. It's not too hard to keep it clean as well (you have enough time to get in first before the last lap) for a nice jackpot after 12.5 minutes. Just take care on the first and last corner, the KTM oversteers easily and you'll end up doing pirouettes at high speed.

The best I can squeeze out of custom race mode is 133k and about 900xp for a 10:30 lap on the nurb 24h with N200 car against GR.1. Yet that's not really racing as that only works with fuel consumption at x10 so all the GR.1 race cars run out of fuel lol. It still takes until the end of the last straight to make first. (and you need the fuel map at 5 not to run out yourself) A real race only nets you 30k or so. A sport race online, way less than that.

The endurance races were fun as well. I went for only 1 pit stop in each by conserving fuel which nets you easy wins. The Porsche one, 30 laps on Suzuka, is a real squeeze for fuel. I dialed the car back to N400 (20% bonus and less fuel) and drove with fuel map 6. Made it to first then back to second before my pit stop at then end of lap 14. Then I drove the rest with fuel map 4. Too easy. I raised the fuel consumption in the last 2 laps to end in style on fumes, 1 minute ahead of second place.

504k and 9k xp for that. No clean bonus though. The AI gets vengeful now and then. Passing them clean for an hour is near impossible when they start dive bombing your fuel economy car.

GT League is more of a puzzle how low you can still beat the AI. There is no challenge with the recommended cars. Yet you can't go too low as first place is usually way out ahead of the pack.

I hit the 24k km driven, 160 hours driving time.  Sadly very little of that in VR. It's just not fun racing by yourself.
