Forums - Sony Discussion - what do you expect from PSX 2017?

I wish KH3 was at PSX but there's very low chances that it will. Square-Enix isn't even in the list of exhibitors ;_;
Well, hopefully Devil May Cry 5 is announced.

Don't know if kh3 will be at psx or not, but for a release date we have to wait maybe for Q2 2018, as SE mentioned that the will reveal the release dates for there bigger games in this timeframe

I know I'll be disappointed if there is no Bloodborne 2 announcement.

Why would you be disappointed if you expect nothing surprising from the get go,?

I guess you're ... somewhat right. Kinda. I didn't have expectations for E3(the last two years I was living under a rock in the exact month that E3's happened so I wasn't around for the hype train) but I was still disappointed by Sony's showing at E3 2017. I was pretty happy with the announcement of Monster Hunter World and Shadow of the Colossus remaster though ... the former might have made up for their showing. Almost. Paris Games Conference was better than E3.

I don't expect surprises ...  but ... maybe we'll get The Last of Us 2 Gameplay? Ghost of Tsushima gameplay? And even though I think From Soft should move on from the Souls series ... if Bloodborne 2 was announced I'd be pleased. I'd give me an excuse to go back to the original!

If all that is shown, than I might change my mind. Also a Detroit and Days Gone release date would be nice.

Edit: I should add it's partially not really Sony's fault. We've had so many amazing years back to back and so much of the PS4's lineup is released or announced that they got to spread out those reveals.

Ghost of Tsushima release date/year. Hopefully 2018.

I don't expect anything, but i wish they brought the lost collosi (6 of them) for the shadow of the collosus remake. Even as paid DLC. I don't care. The remake is such a waste without bringing them back.

Why do you hate the Vita?

At this point in time, its pretty much a useless platform thats holding back the PS4 and wasting shelf space.

PS4's PSN library will greatly benefit if it can get the Vita's library of games and come on its not like its not possible considering the Switch is eventually gonna get all the Vita's current support.

Also I cant wait for the Vita thread here to be renamed to the Offical Switch thread....oh wait maybe I should keep some things to myself :P

That is not gonna happen. It's not as simple as flipping a switch (pun not intended). Wich btw the switch is defenitly not guaranteed to get ports of anything vita.

Like, it comes across as you want some Vita games but don't want to buy one. Pretty akward.

Release date: GoW (March), Detroit (April), Spider Man (May), Dreams (no idea)
Release gap: Days Gone, Last of Us
Gameplay: Tsushima, Dreams, RDR2
Some new VR-titles and more info about PGW VR games

Who is developing that new AAA exclusive?

In terms of new games I'm not expecting much, likely new details and some firm release dates on 2018 titles. I'd love Bloodborne 2, but I think that may be an 2018 E3 announcement.
