$1,500US is for the 55" variant.  Just double checked.

Oh, right, I'm thinking of the 65", my bad. Forgot we were talking about 55" models.

Even with the 20% off, the 65" version is about $2,100US lol! Your retail price for the 65" is still cheaper than our heavily discounted price :(

I don't normally recommend X930E to people, despite me owning one. It's a badass TV, but a bit pricey. The average Joe will get better mileage out of their dollar for the X900E, but my work discount puts the X930E in the price range of reasonable.

If you can do this, go for it. I prefer Full Array LED over OLED. Much brighter, with very good black levels, delivers a much better HDR experience. OLED has a ways to go before I will be interested in it as my main screen, and thats if Full Array LED tech doesn't continue to out pace it.

Wow, did not know this. Why the push from sony an panasonic to OLED if LED tech continues to improve at a faster rate?

I'm waiting til at least next year for hdmi 2.1

Free-sync?

VRR, Dynamic HDR, eARC, 120 Hz, a lot of future proofing for a little patience.

I think on Sony's end it is just matter of having a presence in the OLED space for those that want it, and in the case the market shifts heavily in that direction. They still promote the Z9D and the X930/940E models as the flagships. I think Sony will continue to push the Full Array because they have so much invested in it, and they are so far ahead of the competition.

Depends if you watch tv in dark rooms go for OLED. If you watch tv in rooms which are mostly lit go for QLED or full array LED. OLED delivers near perfect black levels, but are also risky when it comes to burn-in.

Please excuse my (probally) poor grammar
