Forums - Nintendo Discussion - Switch's successor?

The only thing I wish from the successor is just more power. That's all. Oh and...trigger buttons.

Intel Core i7 8700K | 32 GB DDR 4 PC 3200 | ROG STRIX Z370-F Gaming | RTX 3090 FE| Crappy Monitor| HTC Vive Pro :3

Around the Network

Likely pascal or volta based.
Some Tegra X2 chip or newer is my guess.

More power, longer battery life.
Closer to the power of the stationary consoles so as to follow the trajectory of disruptive products layed out in 'The Innovator's Dilemma'

I LOVE ICELAND!

Just saw this:

This is a great argument towards making the Switch's successor run in 4K or at least close to it! :D

Is it really?  Looks more like a defense of their current strategy of making great games with amazing gameplay and getting the most out of an underpowered system.  Mario Odyssey is beautiful (and so was Galaxy) and it would make more sense to use a remaster of Galaxy on the Switch as a comparrison rather than one off the Wii, upscaled to 4K or not.
